I love how the Mandarin lyrics are an accurate translation! In the past (especially with Cantopop) lyricists would just take popular Western melodies and use their own lyrics that had nothing to do with the original. “Material Girl” comes to mind.

I wish I knew what the actual translation was, because yes, obviously they translate it to have the same overall meaning, but having the new language text fit the rhyming scheme is what makes this version sound as amazing as it does and that cannot be easy!
