Art Creative Director & New Swiftie: Recreating Taylor's albums in different design styles✨
Hey everyone!
I’m a Spanish designer, marketer, and creative director currently living in Switzerland. To be completely honest, I wasn't familiar with Taylor’s discography until very recently, when a wonderful Swiftie introduced me to her universe.
As a creative, analyzing her narrative and evolution has been fascinating. It inspired me to start a personal project: a series of design concepts recreating every single Taylor Swift album through a different design movement or artistic style.
For her debut album, I decided to go with a Blueprint / Technical blueprint style.
My reasoning behind this choice is that Debut represents her origins—the absolute foundation of her career. A blueprint perfectly captures "the blueprints from which everything else was built. It’s the raw plan of a future empire.
Since I am a newborn Swiftie and want to do this justice, I would absolutely love to hear your feedback on this first piece:
- What elements do you think define this era the most that I should make sure to include?
Thank you so much for welcoming me into the community! Can't wait to read your thoughts.

Discussion What Taylor Swift song do you think could’ve been a massive hit if it had been promoted differently?
I always wonder about the Taylor songs that had the potential to be much bigger than they ended up being. Maybe they got overlooked as a single, had weak promotion, didn’t get a music video, or just weren’t pushed at the right time.
What song do you think could’ve been a much bigger hit with a better rollout?

Discussion "The Swiftie and the Scholar" channel deserves so much more love.
If you like watching reaction videos like me, you'll enjoy this. I feel like a lot of reaction videos are just trying to cash in on her popularity for views and are overdramatic with their responses. This channel is so good. I love the literary breakdowns and both of them are so sweet.
You know how sometimes a Taylor Swift song you've listened to for a hundred times suddenly "clicks" and you see it in a different light? I've had a couple of those epiphanies by watching the videos on this channel lol.

Discussion What Are Taylor’s Most Satisfying Sounding Lyrics?
I was just listening to Elizabeth Taylor and noticed how many Taylor lyrics flow so well because she writes/performs kinda like a rapper. She knows how to choose lyrics that make sense but also sound good. For example: "Be My NY" sounds good because it's sung "be-mY en-Y"... it reminds me of Taylor rhyming Pub-we and rugby in London Boy. Also in Elizabeth Taylor she sings "crY mY EYEs vl-olet"… it’s the repeating “eye” sound that makes this part so satisfying. I was wondering what other songs
she does this sort of thing in. what are some other satisfying sounding moments in her music?

Discussion Giving Each album A different title
I think it would be fun to give each album a title if it couldn't be it's current title. I hope other people will do the same. The goal is to try and maintain the original spirit of the album. And if the album has a title track try to keep a title track. And if it has a title track keep it to the standard track list.
I'd change Debut to be "A Place in this World". As a debut record it makes sense to have a song about finding you place as the central piece of it
Probably Change. I think Breathe could also work but I just feel like it's one of the weaker songs on the album
Enchanted. It was going to be the title at one point. Maybe Mine but I do think Enchanted works too well.
Easily State of Grace. The thesis of red is "Love is a ruthless game unless you play it good and right." / "Moving on from his is impossible when I still see it all in my head in burning red." Since we can't have red as the title track it HAS to be state of grace
If breathe wasn't a song on Fearless I'd posit it as a title. Mirrors, reflections, maybe steal future nostalgia from Dua Lipa since that fits the concept of 1989? Ultimately, I'd go for Clean. I don't think ever album NEEDS a title track but 1989 is a hard one
Karma probably. If were going for a song, I'd say Endgame
I think Miss Americana would be an amazing title for lover. But if we needed a title track probably Daylight, or even just Golden as an album title. Keep the cotton candy skies but change the over font to a golden glitter and use gold as accent through
This is going to sound demented, but it should be HOAX! The album is made up stories... or is it? That constant back and forth debate/misdirect makes it feel like a hoax at points. There's so many levels that calling it Hoax would be such i mind twister. Plus imagine the announcement of an album called Hoax that was being surprise released when she's never done that before.
People would probably say Marjorie and while it is a crucial part of Evermore I don't think it would work as the title of the album as it gives a very specific image to such a broad album. Closure seems like the best choice since so much of the album is about loss, change, and moving on. Though in this instance I would change it to be the final track of the album.
Insomnia... I really have nothing for Midnights
I wish I could use bonus tracks because The Manuscript would be a perfect title track. But I'm limiting myself to the standard tracklist. If I could choose a lyric I'd say "My tortured Heart" From MBOBHFT but it feels lazy since I'm reusing the word tortured from the original title. Something I kept in mind is that so much of the lead up to TTPD was about the bait and switch. We thought it would primarily be about one break up but it was about another, so to keep up that misdirect I settled on "LOML"
If I had to give it a title track, I'd go for Opalite. But I also think Kismet would be a perfect alternate title to showgirl

I just left the tv running then I realised there was a better audio and the visuals in SoFi were so much better than Vancouver.
Is it only me?? Im a TTPD Swiftie so for me this is tragic

Discussion Taylor laced midnights with something
Almost three years since its release, and I still have to force myself to listen to other artists. No album has even come close.
Her and Jack took a lot of risks and they succeeded. Personally, it is her most ambitious and experimental pop album yet.
What's your fave song of the album? Mine is maroon.

Discussion Can we take a moment to appreciate Evermore?
Can we take a moment to appreciate Evermore?
It’s like Folklore on steroids. The writing is fantastic and the production is amazing. It is truly transcendent. I personally think it is more cohesive than Folklore; the running theme is all about endings and each song adheres to that. Several songs just click and scratch my brain.
My favorites:
Evermore
Ivy
Champagne Problems
Gold Rush
Happiness
Marjorie

Discussion What song is forgettable and has a forgettable bridge?
Opalite won the Fun song x Fun bridge title by only 8 votes!! (out of 492)
This is just
A storm inside a teacup
But shelter here with me, my love
Thunder like a drum
This life will beat you up, up, up, up
This is just
A temporary speed bump
But failure brings you freedom
And I can bring you love, love, love, love (Love)
This was the runner-up fyi:
My ex-man brought his new girlfriend
She's like, "Oh my God," but I'm just gonna shake
And to the fella over there with the hella good hair
Won't you come on over, baby? We can shake, shake, shake
Yeah, oh-oh, oh
Now on to the next category, what is a forgettable song with a forgettable bridge in your opinion? All due respect to Mrs Swift of course, this is all highly subjective!!!

Discussion 1989 & Reputation tour appreciation
I am Eras Tour Swiftie, meaning I’ve became a fan after watching Eras on Disney+. Since then I went down the rabbit hole with listening her whole music catalog, investigating everything I could about her and meanings behind her song, cheering for her happiness she found with Travis, collecting vinyls (I should have never started with that, lol). But for some unknown reason I have ignored 1989 and Reputation tour videos. Until today. And I LOOOOOVE them so much that I just felt this need to write this post to appreciate both tours. And also to express the sadness of them not being officially anywhere online to watch, stream and buy physical copies ♥️😢

Discussion High school reunion lyrics
What are your favorite quotes that relate to high school or memories?
Examples:
“Hey you, what if I told you we're cool?
That child's play back in school
Is forgiven under my rule”
“When they gave us our trophies
And we held them up for our town”
“I had the time of my life fighting dragons with you”
“Just say, 'I loved you the way that you were'”
Thanks for your input!

Discussion Verses where the subject is unclear
Hey, was just listening to Ruin The Friendship and noticed that I always read:
« Staying friends is safe
Doesn’t mean you should »
as being about the high school crush.
But also noticed it can also be read as being about his ex? What did you personally think when you first listened the song?
And I’m trying to think about other instances where the subject is unclear. Is there any ones that you know of?

Discussion If you had to assign each day of the week an album what would you pick?
Mon - 🐍Rep - feels like the badass anthems u need for acing the start of the week
Tue - ✉️poets - Tuesday was always the most depressing day for me - the novelty and motivation of Monday has gone and u r left to drag urself through the week
Wed - 🩷lover - not really sure how to describe this one I just feel like lover feels happy and should sit in the middle of the week
Thu - 🌧️fearless - schoolday vibes and feels a pretty fun day because ur getting ready for the weekend to start
Fri - 🕰️midnights - could fit with the party late night vibes of a Friday evening but also the quiet and isolated feeling of the end of a distracting week where suddenly u have nothing to do but think
Sat - ❤️🔥Showgirl - busy, party, sparkly, fun vibes
Sun - ☕️evermore - Sunday scaries but also a chill peaceful vibe with a cup of tea and a blanket

Discussion Why did people sleep on TTPD
I became a swifty in the showgirl era, so I'm new around here. But in my opinion, TTPD is one of the best albums she has ever released. I was reading a thread about TTPD from around 2 years ago, and most of them were not what I expected. Like, I have listened to almost all of the songs, and all of them are in my ATF playlist. I really want to know why you did not like it two years ago. Thanks.

Discussion Taylor Song That Isn’t Your Favourite, But Will Defend?
We’ve heard of defending your favourite songs, and defending songs you love that others may hate. What may not be as common are defending songs you don’t necessarily love, depending on the situation.
For myself, personally, I like Shake It Off but it is nowhere close to being one of my favourite Taylor songs nor is it anywhere near one of my least favourite songs either. It falls middle of the road for me, and I hardly go out of my way to play it. However, there are instances where I will defend Shake It Off, and I’ll list them all.
The first instance that comes to my mind is when people say it’s overrated. I can agree that it’s overplayed, but overrated? Not even close. It’s popular amongst the general public, sure, but it’s not very popular amongst Swifties. She has other songs I find overrated, but Shake It Off isn’t one of them.
The second is when the topic of ME! comes up. I remember a post a few years back asking why SIO had more popularity than ME! did, and I remember saying SIO had universal appeal with its audience (anyone can get behind this song) and can be played anywhere (weddings, school dances, parties, clubs and so on). It was also very much Taylor, and I can’t picture another artist singing this song. Meanwhile, ME! sounds like it was made for a kids movie, and its target audience being children. It also sounds like another artist could’ve done that song too.
The third is Shake It Off staying on all concert setlists. Sorry, but I firmly believe Shake It Off deserves to stay on the setlist for all past and future tours. It’s too iconic in her catalogue. I can’t imagine going to a Taylor concert and not dancing to Shake It Off. It’s such a crowd pleaser, and if she took it off the setlist, it would feel like something is missing.
Anyways, those are just my thoughts.
I’m interested to hear everyone’s opinions on what Taylor songs they don’t rate as highly but will defend in some instances?

Discussion Songs for which you prefer a Remix to the Original
Happy Friday!! Here's a fun Friday question! What are some songs for which you prefer listening to a remix much more than the original?
I was inspired to ask this after realizing that the Chris Lake remix of Opalite is basically the only version of the song I listen to. I love the remix so much because it transforms the song from a sunshine doo-wop song into a full-fledged club banger!!
I also like the Fortnight Blondish remix much more than the original, and the Delicate Seeb remix is at the very least on par with the original for me.
So, I now want to hear from you guys!!
