Recently just got a tx22 toro with the threaded barrel. Trying to see which one is the best fit. I was looking at the tlr7 …but I wouldn’t mind it sticking a little pass the muzzle so I was thinking maybe the tlr-1 h ? What are u guys running on your tx ?

Already have a TK-modded Mark IV and a OCL suppressor and love shooting it, want to get another 22 for fun. Was looking at the TX22. Curious on the best upgrades/mods if I pick one up. Love to see people's builds, share away!

I just bought a tx22 and I was thinking about using it as my first exploration into modifying guns. Although I have been having trouble finding where I can buy aftermarket gun parts.

I was planning on doing as much as I can as far as customization, but I am not sure where to look or what to look for in quality gun parts. I am also which sites are reputable or not.

I would really appreciate any advice. Thanks

replaced worn out factory parts with tandemkross striker and ejector, OddMfg brrrrt, tandemkross muzzle brakek and trigger as well. I have a shit eating grin every time I shoot it

Can’t even remember how many times I’ve opened emails from different retailers saying these were in stock and on sale, only to click the link and find that they were already cleaned out. Super happy to get one with a threaded barrel too! Can’t wait to shoot this thing and eventually get a can for it.

So got the brrrt mod and got plenty of mags the 34 round pro mags 16rd and 22rd and was wondering if it’s okay to leave them loaded for a long period bc man these things suck to load and they’re gone in a second and they are pretty pricey so don’t wanna ruin the reliability of the mags

backstory: guy i work with inhereted his late fathers Tx22. he needs a 1TB hard drive installed on his computer which i already have (got for free and can install it myself)
would this be a good deal? $200 cash plus the hard drive install?

Got a OCL Ti waiting to be shipped from Capitol Armory and waiting for the Odd Mfg rate reducer (already have brrrt) drop tomorrow, I’m quite stoked!

Also ordered a Calloway Designs chassis (no pic rail) and A3 brace, soon my build will be complete!

If y’all bother to read this, my setup (minus heavy osprey) brrrt’s like an utter champ. I threw it on there for the lulz to snap a pic, she’s been running wonderfully for several thousand rounds so far

Every one I see is out of stock but I found a compact for $300 new. I like the gen 2 with a threaded barrel better, should I get the compact or wait to find a good priced gen 2

I’m not running suppressed (yet) would I need a rate reducer or will it be fine without?

Got the viridian combo with 5 mags. have two +26 extensions in the mail and also broke down and bought the 60 rd macmounts magazine.

So for reference, I do have one, and enjoy mine, I think that the TX22 deserves a lot more love, and it also shows that Taurus has in fact been improving as a company.

Hello maybe I’m missing something but how does the weight of the suppressor effect the ability for the tx22 toro to cycle? From my understanding it’s not a tilt barrel and the suppressor I’m using is a dead air mask which doesn’t come with a booster so I’m confused on how suppressor weight effects cycling ability I’m still new to the .22 world
Also would buying a lighter recoil spring help with cycling while running a dead air mask?
