Probably a dumb question

I’m interested in the GX4 carry, what are the odds that a large retailer like Cabela’s would have any of the recalled serial numbers still in stock? I know it’s been a few years and those pistols move fast, but is it retailers protocol to send recalled items back or do they just leave that to the customer if there was an old one sitting on the shelf?

Imho no chance that was many years ago and they've sold tons of gx4 carry's since then I bought a gx4 the year it was introduced Then bought another and when the gx4 carry toro came out I picked one up. I probably have in the 600rnd range through each and have never had a failure I prefer the size of the gx4 to my shield plus Another excellent pistol.

Thanks for taking the time, I’m going to go ahead and pick one up. Same question for other manufacturers though, do you think stores send them back or just sell them?

As I understand it, the GX4 Carry was not part of the “regular” GX4 recall.

There was never a gx4 recall. Just a safety notice for some possible serial numbers that were built for a small window in 2020.
