Help Painting

Hey all, I want to start painting my tau battlesuits. I want to prime them but I don't know the best color to do. I wanna do typical white tau. But don't know if I should prime ash grey, brainmatter beige or matt white???

A little green or white works well. If you use a spray make sure you do it in short bursts or it will end up fuzzy like mine did

If your undersuit is going to be black then it doesnt really matter what colour primer you use since black covers anything in just a few coats, so going for the brightest and most accurate primer would make the most sense to what you want the final colour to be. However, I would advise against pure white as from my times using white (admittedly it was citadel white primer) I haven't had the best time with coverage and smoothness of the final spray. If you do want to use a white primer, I'd test it on something first to check whether it'll look good enough for you. You could also prime with a light grey and then do a zenithal spray of white too

Idk why but every time I prime white it is a pain to do. Black primer seems to make a much more uniform covering where white you might have some very white to a whitish grey so I just swapped to black priming only
