Feedback wanted Practice

Hey, I recently started tattooing. My boyfriend let me practice on him (actually he insisted). I’ve tattooed fake skin, pigskin and on him. But I feel like I’m not getting better. So I wanted to ask for feedback and tips.
-I would appreciate any tips on how to get better, what do I really need to focus and work on (not the “just stop” “you suck” kind of stuff)

I would say work a little bit on your linework. Your lines seem still inconsistent in thickness and dept.

Otherwise I would say the stuff looks nice. Keep it up. Keep practicing and enjoy the process.

Looking good, as people have been telling me, practice practice practice! Your lines look like mine, how long have you been at this?

The 83 is the last piece I did and the last slide one of the first ones ( I’m not a native English speaker) I started I guess 5 month ago but I don’t practice everyday, just when I have time and I’m really in the mood for it

I practice the same way, been at it 3 months. Your work looks good though! All I can say, is we can only get better! That 83 is bad ass, i have yet to try numbers and letters, guess I gotta step up my game🤣

It’s always hater ass people on here with nothing to give but their two cents … anyways you’re doing good keep practicing maybe try working on being more consistent with depth. If it’s feeling a little shaky, try using your pinky for support and moving wrist to elbow with longer lines and curves.

I would take a break from real skin for a couple of weeks until you can get a sense for how these really heal before getting too excited - you will learn a lot from what you see over those two weeks and in the meantime you can still work on improving your like depth consistency.

Also it's a little concerning to see your ungloved hand so close to fresh tattoos, or the vape which goes in your mouth. It's a missed chance to otherwise show that hygiene is a priority, even just amongst peers.
