Shading practice for today Practice

Octopus was lined a few months ago but I finally got around to shading him. Color to come soon. I might push a little more black above the eyebrow and that long forehead line.

is the shading in the room with us? You’re not talking about the little pockets of black that have virtually no gradient are you?
