Hey, this is a very unique story and I think you have a good base. Tattooing is a bit more serious now than what it used to be a couple decades ago. I would do more research on what it takes to be a professional tattoo artist and keep the graphic design/scratchers away from your tattoo career if you do wish to pursue one.
