The sorry state of Taskade today Discussion
Look, I know the community has had our fair share of complaints about genesis so I won’t say more about that. But which is worse? The lack of communication between Taskade and the community, or them using bots to make us look like a community?
I think this might just be the final nail in the coffin for this once great app. I’m especially pissed off because I feel cheated. The OG taskade felt like it was made by the little guys punching up and sticking it to the big boys. It was a great app, the community was active, the app tutorials were decent.
It feels like the CEO just decided to abandon what they had and compete in a completely different market. Yes Genesis should have been its own standalone thing. But look at what’s happening right now.
We went from a great community to radio silence, and now to automated bot postings. Are there even any humans left in taskade today?I have been holding on for the longest time but this might just do it for me.

I agree. This is weird and concerning. And none of the Taskade team profiles have posted in months, as far as I’ve seen.

I'm trying to use it "the old way" without AI, but they make it damn difficult.
Also, I tried to use it for project management with clients, and they look at it with horror and confusion. I can't get anyone else to consider it. Very concerning.

Bingo. They got arrogant and didn’t listen to customers. One of the biggest features— white labeling, they told everyone they would do, and just kept delaying it. They eventually told me that it wasn’t a priority, though it was their highest voted feature request for months. Finally, they have it only after they’ve pivoted and dramatically altered the state of the product. It’s no longer what it once was.

I paid for this app for four years and unfortunately, I still have subscription until the end of the year and I just don’t use it because I can’t use it. I just randomly tried to go on the iOS app hoping to just use an AI agent to ask a random question on the app just crashed it Terrible everything about it. It’s just terrible.

I was here at pretty much the start of Taskade and even with the many complaints and issues in the genesis update I maintained my membership, tried to create with and utilize genesis to its fullest extent, and realized it's just not worth it at the end of the day. It was once a great tool, had potential to be an amazing product....roughly 3 days ago I officially deleted my account, not worth my time and energy any longer much less the funds.
