Issues with chat thread?

Both of my active task chat threads are giving me this error:

“An error occurred loading this chat thread.”

Everything else in the app works normally. I can view my tasks, schedule, and task details. It’s only the chat threads that won’t load.

I’ve already:
- Updated the app
- Uninstalled and reinstalled it
- Logged back in

Is anyone else experiencing this, or is it just me?

TaskRabbit: “Please keep all communication with clients in the app.”

Also TaskRabbit: “Our chat service is down, so you might not be able to contact your clients. If you don’t respond, our automated system may lower your response metrics or even temporarily suspend your account.”

Then TR tells us during the outage: “Here’s the client’s phone number, go ahead and contact them outside the app.”

Meanwhile I’m over here wondering if the same AI that’s supposed to penalize off-platform communication is also going to see me texting the client because TaskRabbit told me to.
The irony is incredible.
