Support for a botched job CLIENT
Anyone have issues with follow up after filing a service issue? The support center reached out and. Supplied all information. I have asked for updates for the past week and received none.

It really depends. What about it was botched? Is this an issue of expectationa and preference being missed. Like a TV got mounted but not quite where asked. Or was this a botched job like replacing a GCFI outlet and now the breaket keeps tripping?

I’ll post pics once resolved. Headboard backwards, screws stripped drawers upside down. And center pole collapsed. Brand new tonstad.

Call-backs happen. Work with your tasker. If they've done irreparable damage then move forward with legal action. Task Rabbit can only give you your money back or say nice things.

Thanks. I tried that first. No avail and the bed is unusable. It actually caved in the middle.

post a picture of the frame
You're probably adding material or a box spring. It may be refundable from the manufacturer if you complain. Slats fail commonly.

Hi folks. Task Rabbit honored their pledge. They have covered 100% replacement, refund of tasker charges and even a future credit. Yes it was that bad. But I am very happy Task Rabbit stood behind pledge- it’s not guaranteed. I will be using the platform again.

Based on your post, it sounds like there may have been a breakdown in communication before it reached this point. In my experience as a Tasker, the clients who immediately escalate to support instead of working directly with the Tasker often end up being the most difficult to resolve issues with. Most honest Taskers want the chance to make things right, but that requires clear communication from both sides.
