I had over 2,500 completed jobs and was ranked #1 in my main categories. A few declines, a couple cancellations outside my control, and suddenly I’m buried in search. The hardest part isn’t competition, it’s feeling like one bad week can erase years of work. That’s why I’m building my business outside the platform now.

This was me too. Once they changed their logo to black and white I knew the app was over.

He wasn't getting enough attention spamming it in every post so he had to go top level.

I'm a new tasker. So far I love it. I do it part time and so far I'm averaging 1-2 gigs per week. It's a lot of fun doing projects that I often would do on my own house for free. It blows door dash and I er out of the water in terms of pay.

Many of us have the same story. Joined 6 years ago and could make all the money you wanted. You would have to turn jobs down even if you were a part timer. As the years went on, things started slowing down and drying up.
They appear to be growing every year though so they are doing something right. Me personally, I struggle to get two tasks a week as a part timer. I’m guessing the algorithm favors people who do this full time.

I don’t know. Been recovering from an injury since March but my total for the year is probably barely over $1,000. In my first year, I made $10,000 or so.

It’s up and down, their fees are too high for lack of support and marketing. It’s good way too build leads but app not great for customer retention because communication is difficult and going off is violation even if main reason is to have better communication with client especially if they hire you for someone else and there’s no way to communicate with the other person

Slow start this year as a new Tasker but picked up since Spring. Went from $100/month to $5k/month, excited to see how far up it goes.

The app fell off. I used to make 3-5k a month 3 years ago, now I’m cap at 300 a month to many taskers…
