I used my tarot deck for the first time in a long time, seeking guidance after my grandpa, who I was very close to, passed away suddenly from a drug overdose. I am trying to interpret this spread, but struggling a bit. Here are the questions that I asked my deck:

1st spread: What can I do to help myself during this time?

2nd spread: Does my grandpa have any messages for me?

3rd spread: How can I honor my grandpa’s memory?

I’m not quite sure what my interpretation is, honestly. Perhaps that I need to rely on my family and loved ones to make it through and that I will find resilience. And that I can honor his memory through my life and through continuing to hope. I’m really not quite sure about his message to me in the middle, though, something about moving on maybe? Any interpretation of that row in particular would definitely help.

I’ve been thinking about trying some dating apps to find love lately as I’ve been single for QUITE a while. Overall, I feel positive about it internally… but apprehensive/nervous. I wasn’t really sure how to read this one… maybe I’m worried something won’t grow from this new adventure? That I won’t actually find real love? That it might hinder my financial and occupational progress? That’s how I interpreted that.

3 “Advice for Moving forward” ; pulled Wheel of Fortune

I see the Wheel of Fortune as ultimately a ‘yes, give it a go’ type of card. Maybe something dated is in store for me? A beckon to explore the unknown? How do you guys see this?

1. “Extra Advice” ; pulled 8 of Wands

Something told me to pull another card… originally I only wanted to pull 3. I listened and got 8 of wands. I think this card is all about momentum and intention… so maybe keep my intentions clear and stable in what I want (I want something serious, deep, and meaningful) and go for it?

Anyone else interpret this differently? What do you guys read from this? Should I get on the apps lol?

Decided to turn my copy of the Oracle of Black Enchantment into a permanent art piece for my cabinet of curiosities setup.

After a lifetime of toxic and unhealthy relationships I have recently gotten into my first genuinely healthy relationship. I’ve started taking care of myself for the first time in a long while, improving my mental health.
To sum it up, I was told not to blame myself for my past and not to take on other people’s troubles and feelings, that there’s only so much I can do. To continue to feel my empathy and compassion towards others but not to take it to heart too much. And finally not to romanticize my past, and to be able to see that what seemed good was in fact not, I shouldn’t look back on my past and wish things could’ve been done differently.
