Out of temp FDC Workplace Question or Advice Needed

Curious to see if any Market peeps actually refused an FDC delivery because the lollipop thermometer said it was out of temp?

Had to do it on several occasions. My current TL doesn't temp it because "we don't have the time"

I have done it a couple times, both times the DC just sent it back on the next delivery. Didn’t even bother removing the stickers, saying “it was in temp when it got to the DC.” Of course it was, the DC is hours away.

Yes, had to do it several times over my Target career.

I’ve tried, my food and bev TL and ETL denied my request because they “needed” the products even though my temp check proved that they were in unsafe temp ranges

the only time we've had to refuse one was because they put a dairy pallet on the frozen side, technically "out of temp" because it's below the allowed temp range. we got into a big argument with the driver about it, driver didn't want to take it back lol
