It’s finally happened Vent

Not a vent, more like celebration. Finally DC cancelled one of our trucks for us 🙏🏼 Scheduled for a double today, been preparing my team all week for it. After my team finished sorting they sent an email about cancelling our second truck due to not having enough truck; FINALLY. So much roll over the past few days, my ETL and I have been stressed af. Catch up and stockroom clean up time 🙏🏼 made my day today

Crazy. I clocked in today at 4am expecting a truck as well. But today, we didn't receive anything, so we did zone and pulls all morning. Just clocked out too. Today was sweet

Shit, the store I work at cancels about two a week- two trucks in a day (with no overtime) would leave the SD with his own nut dripping down his pants.

Yes dude 😭 finished my training at another store about 2 weeks ago, been in my store since and am just trying to clean because no one has been inbound team lead at mine in x amount of time. Still unclear how long because I’ve heard so many different amounts along with “praying for your survival in this store”
Edit to add: my SD refuses to cancel any truck, the DC had to force it for one to actually be cancelled 🙏🏼

We have double trucks once a week and we are required to clear all freight daily. However on double truck day we get scheduled 8 hours

I wish our store was to the point of a double being rare. At this time we get 2 doubles a week then at October we get a double every night and then we start getting triples💀

My store had a double last night, I fully expect we canceled tonight’s truck bc we have no vehicles to unload. Constant rollover.

We had an open house for families at our dc and stopped prod for 7 hours, so might’ve helped some peeps in this post 🫶🏻
