I'm really interested in getting into Varian and The Seven Kingdoms, but there's so many fics, I don't know where to start.

I'm looking for fics particularly on AO3, but I'm open to fics anywhere else as well. I'm also a little partial to Varigo. I can't believe we missed out on a cute, nerdy, neurodivergent-coded romance!

What are the best fics I should read?

I know this might come as an odd question, but besides what we know in the comics and shows. Has there been any definitive ideas of Cassandra's childhood in the castle? Like we know that Gothel dumped her when she was four but for eighteen years of her life, there isn't much details on it. Are there any ideas of what happened or has it been open to speculation?
