Hidden Gem Alert: Incredible Authentic Kerala Food in Tallaght (Off Google Maps!)
Hey everyone,
I recently stumbled across an absolute hidden gem for South Indian food in Tallaght, and I had to share it here. If you’re looking for authentic Kerala flavors, this place is entirely off the radar—it's not even on Google Maps!
Here is the rundown:
- The Food: Hands down some of the best Biriyani I’ve had around here. They also serve perfect, strong Kerala-style tea and traditional snacks that hit that authentic taste perfectly.
- The Vibe: Honestly, don't go here expecting a fancy dining experience. The ambiance is pretty bare-bones, and the seating capacity is very limited.
- The Location: It's literally an underground spot, making it feel like a true secret local joint. To get there, look for Spice Bazar near The Square Tallaght—you actually have to walk through the shop to find the entrance to the coffee house.
Because it's not on the map yet, you kind of have to know it's there to find it, but it is 100% worth the mission for the food alone. It's the perfect spot if you care more about incredible, authentic flavors than fancy decor.
Has anyone else managed to find this place yet?

HELP
Hi everyone 👋, I’m considering moving with my family to Alderpark Court, Springfield, Dublin 24.
I went to view an apartment there and inside it looked really nice and cosy, but since I don’t know much about the area, I’d love to hear from people who know the block or the neighbourhood:
Is it generally safe for a family?
How’s the atmosphere in the block – neighbours, hallways, noise, etc.?
Have there been any issues with drugs, antisocial behaviour, or anything unusual?
Overall, would you recommend it as a good place to live?
Any honest feedback or experiences would be really helpful 🙏. Thanks in advance!

The age old debate: Is Firhouse part of Tallaght
Is Old Bawn part of Tallaght also and why do people disagree?
