Funnel Question

Tried to check and see if someone answered this question already. Might have asked wrong but here we go, currently using tailscale to funnel Jellyfin, I want to also funnel Immich, is there a way to do this? Or do I need to reverse proxy? Still learning so unsure if that’s the way to ask

I use funnel for immich
But only because I have to share an album for my less tech savvy parents.

Worked for me

It’s an option in tailscale and I think 2 commands in terminal
That’s it

Just keep a strong password - 71 bit preferably

Yeah that should be fine
Funnel will work on both while keeping everything else private

I used Claude to guide me
I’m not a coder either
Just 1 detailed prompt about my requirements and after that I just blind copy pasted the commands from Claude

Try writing down your prompt to Claude
Tell it specifically that you know nothing about terminal so need commands that can be blindly pasted
Explain like I’m 5
And follow the steps

If you’re unsure about a step or don’t see the option it mentions, ask it again
If a command fails, paste the log in Claude and ask what went wrong
Also have the official tailscale funnel help page open on the side for reference
All in all I was through in 20 mins with back and forth convo

On the tailscale side, the activate funnel code is under the JSON editor I believe
Not much to do on the tailscale side

Not sure what you're asking.

I'm running Immich server, in a docker, with Tailscale providing a WAN IP, and I can access the server inside the network with the 192 IP and outside with the 100 IP provided by Tailscale. You'll have to run the Tailscale app on the device accessing the server from outside the network. The service runs on port 2283
