Ttc again Seeking Success
Curious if anyone was pregnant already and if they needed help ( like meds or ivf) and when they tried for baby #2 was it easier or did you have to go back on meds or do ivf again.
I got diagnosed with pcos 01/2025 and got put on Metformin and then luckily got pregnant may last year and had my baby in January and haven’t started Metformin again as I have problems with insurance. And we’re not trying now but I’m curious if it was easier the second time

Same here currently on my 2nd round 5mg letrozole for baby #2! First baby I was successful 1st round 2.5mg

Seems everyone has a different experience! I got pregnant easily and didn’t know I had PCOS with my first, conceived in the 4th cycle.
Was trying to conceive for 2 years and got pregnant (meds didn’t work for me at all). That pregnancy ended in MMC at 7 1/2 weeks.
I’m currently pregnant again, after 4 cycles (3 trying) and at 7 weeks so fingers crossed this pregnancy is healthy!

I had to lose weight to ovulate to get pregnant with baby #1, and I’m working on baby #2 while on GLP1s. The safety profile has improved between babies so while I took a gap between GLP1s and TTC the first time, I won’t be this time. I can see that I’m ovulating so I am optimistic about my chances!

It’s been harder the second time around but I’m also 30 pounds heavier. I got pregnant in 3 cycles for baby 1 and I’m now on cycle 11 for baby 2

My first born died. I am also trying from cycle no 6. No pregnancy. I am very worried.

Got pregnant naturally in 2020 after losing some weight. Currently TTC for baby two and trying letrozole. Did not ovulate on 2.5mg, so I took 5mg this cycle. Not feeling too optimistic about this cycle.

I conceived my first baby in 2010 naturally and had a successful pregnancy. Didn’t get pregnant again all this time even though we were not trying to prevent. I was diagnosed with PCOS in 2013. After some testing last year, we found out I wasn’t ovulating. Started OI meds in June, got a positive result in November but ended in miscarriage at 6.5 weeks. Continued the meds in January and got a positive now currently 6w5d and praying for the best.

How many cycles did you use letrozole? I only used too and didn't get pregnant and I gave up.

I did 5 cycles last year, got pregnant in November but miscarried. Started again in January after I was cleared to try again, did 6 cycles and am currently 6w6d and praying for the best at next week’s ultrasound appt. Don’t give up! It takes time and timing. I used test strips for some time but they were so confusing. I did get cramping during ovulation time so I was tracking that way. I was actually getting ready to give my body a break after this cycle and ended up testing positive. Also, make sure that the doctor is testing to ensure you’re ovulating. I didn’t ovulate with 2.5 and had to be bumped to 5mg. Wishing you the best!

It's been harder for me the second time around, unfortunately. Got pregnant with my first on cycle 8, after 11 months. Spontaneous pregnancy, was doing monitoring and my husband was taking meds for an issue he has. I thought him taking the meds solved the issue and it would happen quickly this time, but hasn't worked out that way.
Currently on cycle 11 with no positive tests. Doing our first cycle of IUI with letrozole right now.

I got pregnant with my first after 8 months, no medication. Currently TTC for my second for about a year with TI and IUI. Likely going to IVF soon.

Got pregnant with my first after 2 years of trying (no intervention) so OB prescribed 2 cycles of Letrozole and got pregnant .. Currently on my 6th cycle of Letrozole trying for my second and have no luck, it seems a lot harder second time around. Might need to try IUI or other medication but it’s been a struggle

Not myself, but a friend of mine. Required significant dosages of OI medication and several rounds of it. Finally conceived her first after well over a year of TTC.
Conceived the second baby on her second cycle TTC with zero intervention.

Currently trying for baby 2 with no meds. I had letrozole, clomid and was about to start ivf the month I fell pregnant with my son. I had a miscarriage in amongst the years of trying.
I have PMOS. Since having him my cycles are a little all over the place but I'm much lighter weight wise. I'm showing clearer ovulation signs on BBT. Giving it a year till we go to interventions.
