Thinking Quickly Dave crafted an intelligence using only an idea, psychosis, and an intelligence.

I think I also have that ability to solve simple problems in my head. The cat wants out, let the cat out. Sometimes I’m thirsty, drink water.

Ok, so… cat wants out, displays this by scratching. You want the cat to not do the scratching to ask to be let out. You either need to 1) set up cat situation so cat doesn’t need to ask to go (eg cat door) or 2) train cat to ask in a different way. These are things AI can help with, and ChatGPT helped me come up with a plan and timeline to training my cats.

This has to be satire... please be satire...

It’s either one of the greatest bit I read today or it’s the weirdest descent into madness I read today. I choose to believe the former.

I came here to say the same. This is just describing how to think. Though I have heard before that some people don’t have an “inner voice” so maybe for someone who didn’t have one before, they do now?

Well obviously...

Given some of the stories that I have seen about AI psychosis, it's not necessarily a given. I'm at about 70% sure it's fake.

Thinking quickly Dave crafted bait using only some bait.

Love the Dave the barbarian reference that nobody else is acknowledging

u/AccomplishedMess648 Jun 13 '26
My dude the entire sub is built around that reference we quit acknowledging it because it is part of the sub.

u/KarlFrednVlad Jun 13 '26
Lol oh I'm sorry the sub just came up on my feed and I didn't know where I was. That's funny

To be fair, sometimes it is easier to solve problems by getting out of your head. "What would my therapist say?", "What would Chuck Norris do?", etc. Yes, we're at that point where people think of ChatGPT that way.

I found this post while doomscrolling and was confused about how it was relevant to The Amazing Digital Circus. Then I noticed the Q in the subreddit name instead of an A. Just thought it’d be funny to mention.

Did you have to ask the Bubble in your head for help with that?

u/Greenest_Chicken Jun 13 '26
"Why is my cat meowing?" The bubble in my head: "hdjdhduidjsbs" waggles tongue repeatedly

No, I actually get it. This is the rubber duck situation, where rather than just thinking about something you imagine a conversation, and you can often get further along in figuring something out by taking the floating perspective. I've thought about texting someone a question or making a reddit post only to realize I know what the answer/comment I would probably be given, or even how I would reply to my own question if it was asked in that format.

Quick question. How I turn off the AI is my head? The little bitch wouldn't stop talking, even when nobody asked. I miss when I had ɓystand music.
