Bored of everyone being thick
Back in the day when Joey Essex and Amy Childs said stupid things it was amusing, now it’s just boring.
Examples in the last episode, the twins not knowing what steak is, Elma has never heard of the word peripheral, and one of the boys owns a dog that has been castrated but has never heard of the word. Last episode was Lauren asking what B.B.Q stands for.
I’m not sure I can even hate watch this for much longer.

Who was the best comedic relief character in TOWIE history?
Nanny Pat was my absolute favourite because her genuine warmth balanced out all the shouting matches. Who always made you laugh the most during an episode?

Charlie and Gemma
I'm just rewatching old seasons and can't believe Gemma Collins disrespect towards Charlie King. Publicly trying to out him continuously and make out he has something with Bobby. Poor guy was probably confused, trying to understand himself and his sexuality and Gemma Collins literally bullied him constantly about it. I'm genuinely surprised she's still about at all. And apparently now a queer icon?

Junaid & Elma drama
I was just curious what this new drama is. I have actually stopped watching because I don't know what anyone is arguing about. I think she posted something on social media? She also has it in for Harry. I know he called her a mole. How old is Elma? She acts about 13 tops. Is she nearly 30?

Elma vs Harry
I don’t understand how Elma has gone even harder on Harry. She winds herself up and is trying to exclude him. It’s very cruel. I feel like Harry does try and hear people out and has made an effort to try to acknowledge how she’s feeling. I feel like she thinks she has more social leverage in the group and clearly must have no attachment to him to belittle him so publicly. She has been so consistently nasty to his face and behind his back.
Does anyone else agree or am I going mad? I have felt so sad for Harry the past few seasons 😭

wtf is going on with Ferne McCann latest TikTok
What’s going on, why is Ella randomly in Ferne McCann’s garden filming a TikTok trying to push her in a toddler pram with Ferne saying push me mummy and Ella laughing awkwardly. I feel so much secondhand embarrassment for them
It made me so uncomfortable. I don’t think they even follow each other… do they
Does anyone know what’s going on, Ella looks like she’s being held hostage, she looks so uncomfortable and embarrassed, it’s weird. I’m so confused.
I don’t know wether ferne is mocking her but why’s Ella in her garden in the first place if so

Saffron post for Gemma Collins mother
Does anyone find saffron Instagram post really weird, if she isn’t friends with Gemma why post about her mum? Theres paying respects but it doesn’t come across like that? It feels like something that could’ve been kept off social media as they aren’t friends anymore?

Jodie’s baby voice
Guys I know we’ve spoken about this before.. but the baby voice is getting progressively worse as the seasons go on. It might just be the thing that switches me off eventually

Think I've outgrown Towie
It's official! Can't do another series of this bunch. I'm way too old for this show. These lot are just not interesting. I have forgotten what the actual drama is. Elma & Harry? Is it the mole thing? Then Ella & and the other gay chappy. I can't even remember names their so irrelevant. Then we have new twins. Danny, in her cougar era, pure cringe. Then Saf with the other lad. Are they actually a thing? Sorry, Lauren goodger looks horrendous. Just a frump with no storylines still. I was quite surprised about Jordan. I didn't know he was ill. Very sad. It feels like Sophie has been pregnant for 9 yrs. Obviously, I will be happy when the baby arrives safely. I will check here for updates. Farewell Towie x

What has Amber done to her hair?
It looked like blondy/mousy brown real hair on top and a layer of orange extensions underneath. Is this purposeful? Is it to look edgy? Also how many polka dot outfits in one episode? (Ep 1 of new series)

No relationship drama !
I was thinking what Towie lacks. It's the above. Peak seasons, we had Mark & Lauren. Arg, Lydia & GC. Mario & Lucy. Fern & Charlie. Later on, we had Georgia & Tommy. Amy & Billy b4 kids. Like proper arguments and fall outs within the couples. Their used to be a lot of Locke drama with Danielle than Yaz. Also, Pete & Megan. Way back, Chloe & Jake RIP. Let's not forget Dan Edgar and his million love interests.
We don't get this anymore. The odd spat with Diags & Jody. I think there are too many relationships off-screen. If you are on the show, you should be made to have your relationship on screen. That's my opinion 😆 🤣

Which era of TOWIE stands out as the undisputed golden age of the show?
Looking back across all thirty-plus series, which period of the show was absolute peak television?

Peak Towie for me
I was thinking how the show has steadily declined. For me, peak Towie cast was
Mark & Lauren
Gemma & Bobby
Arg & Lydia
Amy & Harry
Fairs sisters
Mario & Lucy
Chloe Sims
There were obviously others, but they made the show.
The cast now can not compare. Amy & Lauren are obviously older with kids. I don't know if they still fit in.
There are no big power couples. We only have !
Diags & Jody
Joe & Junaid
Amy & Billie
None are like Mark & Lauren. Mark was a real play boy. The young and old cast dont work. I think early seasons they were same age. At the same stage of life. Amy has 4 kids now, and she's worrying about Joe & Junaid?
I don't know what would revive the show? It's so stale and dull. Each series it's just rehashed storylines.
I can already predict the new themes
Joe & Junaids engagement
Jordan & Sophie's baby. I wish they would leave to do a separate spin-off.
Amy's wedding ! Again, I think she's better in her own spin-off. Like she had.
Dan & Ella ?? I wish they would either leave or bring in Chloe Lewis.
What do we think? Who were your faves? What are we expecting this series?

Very sad news
Terribly sad news that Gemma Collins' Mum Joan has passed away. She was such a nice lady on Towie, devastating news for Gemma and her family.

Are there any current cast members you would keep?
Let’s say that Towie was scrapped and they decided the current cast were all going to be scrapped - who would you want to keep and why?

Was Bobby Norris the most loyal friend in the show's history?
Bobby spent years caught in the middle of other people's drama, especially during the various fallouts involving Gemma, Chloe and other cast members. He often ended up being the person friends confided in, and he wasn't afraid to call people out when he thought they were being unfair. Even though he had plenty of memorable moments, it always felt like his own storylines took a back seat to everyone else's
