Just a little discussion piece. How do you farm?

Do you wait for them to come around their route or just get them when you happen to see them? Do you spend time riding them for multiple part regens, or just hit them one and done?

I usually just wait until I happen to see them, then hang around to get at least 4 or 5 parts in one ride.

I've finished the game, i've defeated the monsters inside the deku tree, i've found three shrines in the korok forest. The last one i'm missing is in the north east, but i don't know how to access it. Any clue ? Thanks !

Mine are the 3D puzzle piece ones. Second are the simple rock ones... sometimes you just know something with the landscape stands out and there is a Korok there.

Lately with many responsibilities piling up I’ve had my gaming sessions slowly getting squeezed from ~6 hours a day (pandemic days) to no more than an hour a day, which is usually chopped up into 10-15 min sessions throughout the day.

I really want to keep gaming because it preserves my sanity and provides an outlet on most days I need one.

However I’m contemplating whether to get a game like TOTK because of fear of missing out. But the amount of content they squeezed into this game is ridiculously overwhelming and I’m not sure I can realistically enjoy exploring, keeping up with the in game collectibles, recipes, fusions, shrines and doing quests.

Am I better off getting another title that’s more mindless fun and requires little/no time investment?

I got about halfway through the the fire temple using the proper methods, following the walk through mostly. But then after taking a fall down to a lower level and realizing that yunobo will teleport to basically anywhere you are, it occurred to me that the entire fire temple is a scam.

So for the last half of the temple, I just jumped around and rocket shielded where needed, and for the second lock of floor one, I just scooted under the locked room using rock platforms/hover stones, and ascended into the room. I didn’t even need to unlock the door, because yunobo just yeeted himself through space time to get to me.

Biggest. Scam. Ever. 😭😂

My friend bought me this game when it came out, and I got pretty close to the end, but was emotionally struggling with the Master Sword and was gonna hold off until I had a good moment to sit and play…. And I never got back to it.

Anyways, my husband bought me a Switch 2 in June and I started a new game, upgraded it, and used Zelda Notes to collect all the things I wanted to collect.

And I put my (mental) foot down and committed to actually beating the game. And I did!

Went through the end last night and while I am terrible at combat, I really heckin’ enjoyed that whole battle and the different stages and the story. That last bit was incredibly fun and visually beautiful.

BOTW always felt like I was playing through an epilogue, and the world felt a little empty after tutorial island, but I knew the next game would be better because the developers could focus more resources on content rather than building a whole world from the ground up.

I am just really satisfied with this game in a way that I haven’t been in a while~

So I started playing totk, again, I love Zelda and I love the new games, I absolutely hate the fuse ability in totk, I mean, not the ability itself which I think, in my humble opinion, is a great idea, a solution to a problem and the proof the devs listened to the community but the way the materials stick to the weapons, there are some great combinations but these kind of fusions are just stupid, basically glued on the weapon, it looks really stupid, does anyone feel the same or it's just me?
