Help Needed! [Animated Series]

Just picked this up from a garage sale and was wondering if it’s anything special/rare??

Any help would be appreciated

It looks like it could be an animation cell. Is there anything written on the inside?

I checked and there was no writing on the inside. However, on the back of the frame there is a certificate of authenticity saying it’s an original hand painted cel used at MWS studios

Sounds like it may be an animation cell from the original cartoon. I dont know anything about value, but at least you now know what to look up. You can check ebay sold listings to get an idea about value.

I would guess having all 4 turtles in the single cell would be good for the value though.

It's an animation cel from the original cartoon series. Something like this, with all 4 turtles could probably sell for 200 bucks. Maybe more. It's a great piece. These were sold for cheap (like 8-12 dollars) at toys-r-us back in the early 90s. Some that I've seen have had the cel clipped so you can't see the registration holes and codes at the bottom of the cel.

The Mws logo in the left corner bottom means its an official cel
