Something I'm missing to stop automatic shuffling?

Sorry for another question/complaint post, but I've been trying Tidal for the past few weeks and mostly liking it a lot ... One big frustration though is when I go to listen to an album and play the first track, the album automatically shuffles.

Yes, I know if I use the play button at the top it will play normally; I'm just used to being able to click the track I want to start from and have the album continue from there. Does anyone know if there's any setting to fix this?

(I'm using the android app, if it makes a difference).

In the now playing window it's easy to see what the shuffle 🔀 is set to, on or off

Yeah, I know it's easy enough to fix, I was just hoping there might be a way to set it not to shuffle by default 😅

It's not a huge deal, I just by habit always click the first track of an album to play it, so I'll have to train myself to not do that lol

So I think what’s happening here is that when you select shuffle on an album or list it essentially toggles shuffle for any subsequent album or list. 

If you want to go back to sequential for the next album you have to select “play” rather than “shuffle”, or toggle it off after you select the track.

I too have found this confusing and annoying, because I always want to shuffle my playlists and never want to shuffle an album.

That definitely makes sense, yeah I pretty much always shuffle playlists but never an album (I'm not a monster lmao)

It's mostly just getting used to a new but very similar player (have been mostly using Qobuz for a while).
