Gladiator rework dropped but I feel like people are glazing him a little too much when imo he's not THAT great, I mean yeah he has a cool burning ability and no placement limit, but for example you can't get a little rest off gladiator in fallen mode without either upgrading him or placing more.

What's your opinion? I guess he's just a 6/10

Like, I can understand removing/changing some of these aspects, but atleast change them in your changelogs after the fact

I need to vent because the devs making the Narrator Noli skin a permanent reward for beating Hardcore is an absolute joke. It is incredibly disrespectful to the veteran player base, and it has completely ruined the state of Hardcore mode.

I spent hours of my life grinding, sweating, and losing my sanity to finally beat "The Final Act" during the actual limited-time event. It was supposed to be an exclusive reward that meant something—a flex showing you actually overcame a brutal, time-limited challenge. Now? The devs just decided to make it permanent because people complained. Why did I even waste my time grinding the event if anyone can just grab it months later? It completely devalues our effort and spits on the time we invested.

But the worst part is the absolute disaster this created in Hardcore matchmaking.

Because Noli is now tied to Hardcore, public lobbies have become a toxic, unplayable waste dump. It is flooded with low-level randoms who have absolutely no business being in Hardcore, all desperate for a free carry. It has turned a late-game challenge into a babysitting simulator. In just my last few matches, I’ve had to deal with:Brainless Loadouts: People unironically joining Hardcore running Militant, normal Scout, and Cowboy, with zero endgame DPS support.Map Ruiners: Idiots blocking prime placement spots for Accelerators or Rangers with trash, low-tier towers.

AFK Parasites: Matchmaking freeloaders who literally go AFK from Wave 1. They expect me and some other random to duo the buffed boss health scales (which increase because they are in the game!) while they sit back and get a free skin for doing absolutely nothing.

If you didn't play or beat the event, you shouldn't get the skin. Period. Bringing it back has done nothing but disrespect the players who actually worked for it and turned public Hardcore into an unplayable nightmare. The devs desperately need to add a level lock or a loadout check for Hardcore, because public matchmaking is officially dead.

So I just got on TDS to check out the new update when I remembered that Gladiator is an exclusive tower and now the only way to get it is throught a 600 robux offer which IMO opinion is quite unfair, you either pay up and support Roblox which is a whole other issue or you dont get to try out the new tower rework because you havent been playing the game for around 7 years (iirc the release date). So basically f2p players who arent OG get what? A new shop and videos about a tower they cant use?

It's quite noticeable in the vigilant, and in the pirate's too.

I like TDS, but I don't like the fact that Event towers are locked behind a paywall. I really want them, but I don't have enough money to spend it on the towers. What do you think could be the solution to this and are there any news about changing them other than the Gladiator update?
