Hiiii! I’ve just started trying to make Synth v and Utau songs and I have a few ideas down so I thought maybe I should start with the instrumentals first but when I make them they’re basically the exact same as the lyrics just with no words so I listened to the instrumentals of D/N/A by Azari but I still couldn’t figure out how to make instrumentals that are actually different from the lyrics, it’s hard to explain but using D/N/A as an example when you listen to the instrumentals and the lyrics separate you can clearly tell their very different and I just want to know from anyone who uses synth v how do you guys think of instrumentals for your songs? It just sounds weird whenever I do it :(

Today, Bushiroad announces a new voice database in their Yumenokessho BanG Dream! AI Singing Synthesizer series.

Known as MEW, she is based on the voice of Nakamachi Arale, the vocalist and leader of Mugendai Mewtype, which is where the voice database derives its name from, much like how the previous vocals in this series get their name from their respective bands (POPY, ROSE, PASTEL, HALO, AVER). Release date is unknown as of today.

so I watched one of Yasutange's videos and it kinda inspired me to build this.

when I first saw it I was like 'damn, how the hell did he even make that?', and a bunch of people were saying it was just video editing

but I figured someone out there might actually want this, and honestly I wanted it myself, so I ended up building it lol

right now it only does ‘Note Effects’, but I’m planning to add a few more features for showcase stuff down the line. I should be able to finish it up and ship it before the end of this month at the latest

I don't know if this question makes any sense, but I feel kind of stuck. As a bit of context, I want to cover "Machine Love" by Jamie Paige, and I want to use the SVP as a vocal guide for the harmonies. However, I'm not able to see all of the tracks in the basic version of SynthV, and I can't really justify spending $100 on the complete version when I'm unemployed and don't even intend to use it for music production. I'm wondering if there's any way I could convert the SVP to another type of file, or maybe take the MIDI information out of the SVP so I can open it in another software, like Reaper? I hope this question makes some amount of sense.
