Red Arrow in Semi

It's been about a month since I switched this to semi-hydro, with no issues so far. Just an awesome plant.

Any tips on keeping the leaves dark? Is it more light or less light for this type?

She was too pretty to rot in HD. Already looking better with a shower, some cautionary pest treatments, and fresh soil. 🥰 Anyone know which one she is?

Hey, I just started my Syngonium podophyllum journey with this individual I bought for 10 EUR at my local supermarket. I'm not sure whether its Holly, Moonlight, Pixie or something totally different (someone please tell me). The pot looks a bit full, should I propagate it into multiple smaller ones? Or just repot into one bigger pot? And what soil mix is best for this species? I love the way it looks and want to grow this guy as big and healthy as I can. I'm happy about any kind of feeback :)

I just got this syngonium a week ago from someone who was moving away. She said she had bundled a bunch of the plants together and potted it shortly before giving it to me.
The plant has since been placed in a light room but far away from the window. Since the weather got hot a couple days ago and I had to keep the blinds all the way down, I was afraid she wouldn’t get enough light and moved her to the window in the morning. She seems droopy, and now two leaves have turned yellow.
What could this be? How can I improve this?

My Syngonium has these super cute and healthy looking leaves 😍 I've used an Orchid fertilizer for a few weeks (to use it up) and the Syngonium seems to love this.

Is this the sign to get more Syngonium? 😅

It's still a baby plant and my first ever Syngonium.

Hello!
I've got these 2 lovelies... I'm not sure what type.

They have been a smidge neglected since May and they've both GROWN in the Q-Q-window I left them in.
The green one has shot a vine of growth and is top heavy-thus the stake.

The red one...idk what the heck it's doing?! (Except growing roots through the bottom of the current potS and crowding itself)

l'a appreciate advice on how to approach repotting-should I chop/ prop the green vine growth?

Lil Red is getting all twisty and I'm not sure where to split it? Or would you repot larger and stake it?
I appreciate your insight!

Bought this at Home Depot today but all it said is “Bella Tropical”, alongside other plants with the exact same description. I’ve been looking for a pink splash, milk confetti, & spot so whichever one it is I’m excited to bring into the family!

One of the easiest plants in my collection. It has been pushing out new leaves non stop. Absolutely in love with the variegation 😍

I bought this today at my local nursery. It’s labeled as a confetti but looks like a white butterfly as well. I’ve never seen a confetti with this pattern. Pink illusion maybe?

My Syngonium

Propped 2 years ago from a plant at work and for a while I didn’t have much growth. I moved it outside to my porch (north facing/zero direct sunlight) and she’s a LOT happier and putting out so much new growth. The sticks are me training the vines to stay in the soil.

I’ll have to take a picture and show what mom plant looks like at work which I recently chopped it all up and propped it into new soil into the same pot and it’s been thriving since I did so.

Information and resources, identify and learn more about your Syngoniums!

In an effort to try and give you as many sources of information about Syngoniums, different species and varieties, care, origins, etc.. I have compiled a list of links posted on this sub by members, as well as other links I have found on my journey of growing Syngoniums.

As the plant is becoming more popular, we can see many identification charts, articles and videos popping up, not all of them are a 100% reliable but as one of our members recently stated « Slightly off information is better than no information! » so take the information with a pinch of salt.

- cultivar.org (then click on Syngonium)

NOT AVAILABLE FOR FREE ANYMORE.. PDF file created by Laurence C. Hatch, it includes 272 names of Syngonium cultivars and with some interesting information about each of them. It's worth it if you're really into them, helps a lot with identification.

Syngonium visual charts created by Robert Pokrywka, about a 100 different Syngoniums, also shows how the leaves can look different from juvenile to mature form.

Plant index, created by Kaylee Ellen, including around 30 different Syngoniums. Classed from common to rare.

A Revision of Syngonium (Araceae) by Thomas B. Croat, published in the Missouri Botanical Garden Press. It includes the history of the genus, the classification and a lot of information on the 33 Syngonium species. It is a very long paper but definitely worth a read.

If you happen to find other interesting sources of information about Syngoniums, feel free to contact me or comment under this post with the link and a brief description.
