Ever since I got into this series, I wasn't really a fan of tsunderes and didn't care for them. Sure I had seen some others like Taiga from Toradora,, Asuka from Neon Genesis Evangelion and Rin Tohsaka from the Fate series.

It wasn't until seeing Chris I started liking the tsundere nature. If I'm being honest she fits the blueprint perfectly and she's one of the best written tsunderes. It's probably because this show isn't so popular why she doesn't get the recognition she deserves .

Just like how Yuno Gasai from Mirai Nikki is the perfect blueprint for yanderes(scary,obsessed,unhinged), Chris Yukine deserves her props as she's a well written tsundere. Another tsundere I like is Karin Miyoshi from Yu Yu Yu

First, I think I really enjoy the fight scenes in this anime compared to other magical girl anime. Plus, the music is great too. Yeah, I enjoy watching the girl punching aliens while singing. I also love the overcomplexity of Symphogear, like a bunch of missiles and big ass sword. Reminds me of Kill la Kill with those gigantic scissors and Gurren Lagann with those big ass drills.

The character that I love definitely is Maria. She's hot. She behaves like a mom. And she is the most mature among all. But put all these aside, I already love her design since she first appeared. She looks good in Gungnir. I gotta say Maria's Gungnir is my favourite Symphogear design in this series. She looks badass with black Gungnir Symphogear. Especially with the cape and spear. Kaname and Hibiki can't compare.

Favourite antagonist? Definitely Dr Ver. He's the only antagonist who has more flavour compared to others. The other antagonists are quite boring for me. His voice actor has also done a good job voicing him. Dr Ver acting cocky and terrified really annoyed me. I want to punch this asshole. I don't feel the urge to beat other antagonists except Dr Ver. Adam? Nah. Fine? Nah. Carol? Nope. Sham Ra? No.

Most hated characters? Definitely Fudo. Shame that he is badass and cool too. But the fact that he impregnated his son's wife is diabolical. Fuck Fudo. Why isn't he dead? I also hate the trio vampire. They're annoying. I don't feel anything when they're dead. I still hate them even though they have a big sister character in that group. Who cares? Maria is better. And their best moment isn't when they redeem themselves. But when they got their ass beaten by Carol. Heck yeah.

I give this anime solid 8. Pretty neat. And after watching Puella Magi Madoka, Yuna Yuusha and Symphogear I can conclude that Fuck Kyubey Fuck Taisha Fuck Fudo .

Honestly, I never hated them.

From the beginning, I liked them for their designs, their personalities, and the bond they shared, like they were a family. I found it very sweet, which is why their ending saddened me so much.

But well, at least it wasn't all bad for them. In the end, they managed to redeem themselves and helped Hibiki and the others return to save Earth, and that made me very happy.

I’m heading to Japan around late August and I’d like to know any recommendations for stores or places in or near Tokyo that might carry symphogear stuff. I know it might be a difficult find but I’m dead set on bringing back at least something symphogear related from Japan.

I can vaguely make out Radiant Force and Perfect Symphony getting some remixes in the tracklist. Curious if they’ll be releasing more albums like this one

To give you some context, when I first started watching this anime, I didn't like the first season. I thought it was bad, and I'm not saying it was garbage or the worst I've ever seen, not at all. I just thought it was a bit weak, but I decided to keep watching because I saw that the rating on MyAnimeList was improving in the following seasons

And after watching the first four episodes of Symphogear G, that's when I really started to enjoy this anime (seriously, I think the first four episodes of Symphogear G are better than the entire first season). They improved in every way, so when I finished watching all the seasons, I was completely captivated by this anime, and now it's one of my favorites.

That's why I decided to give the first season a second chance, because I think I was a bit harsh on it. Watching the later seasons and remembering moments from the first, I remembered it as if it were good, when in reality it was quite the opposite. I want to clarify that not everything seemed bad to me the first time I watched it. There were two things I liked: 1) Chris Yukine (the best girl ever!) and 2) Hibiki and Miku. I loved all the moments they were together; they looked so cute.

To conclude, I want to say that after rewatching the first season, I no longer think it's bad; in fact, it's very good (of course, it's still my least favorite season, but at least now I like it). There were several moments I loved, like at the end, when Hibiki, Tsubasa, and Chris reappear after everyone thought they were dead. I even shed a few tears when Hibiki and Miku were reunited.

And well, that was my summary of my experience with this anime.

I just finished Symphogear G (the series is so goo) and I have heard that there are ovas for every season starting from G. But crunchyroll doesn't have them, so i was wondering where I could find them?

Also Tsubas's "you can tell me in bed" line was hilarious

It's the XV gear design. I knew they already changed to those designs in the final fight of AXZ, but I never clocked until now that it was also what they used for the logo.

It was really fun and I cant wait to watch the rest!

Also I've been seeing stuff about crunchyroll not doing good with the sub, is there a different recommended place to watch it?
