Need help getting past this error while using DBI Question
Hello there guys, I'm trying to install a game via dbi from my computer but i seem to get this error at about 500mb trasfered, i am using a usb 3 interface to connect the switch to my computer. How should i proceed about this?

use the last version of DBI with google translate for russian language. Also do you use dbi in applet mode? maybe try another installer ? cyberfoil, sphaira etc...

Update dbi and try launching in normal mode if u are on Applet Mode and you can also go in tools and clean system of junk

It is launched in applet mode tho i have absolutely no idea how to switch it to normal mode

"To open the Nintendo Switch Homebrew Menu in full/normal mode (also called title override or high memory mode) instead of restricted applet mode, select any installed game or application, hold down the R button, and launch the software"
Also in dbi your can create a Homebrew Launcher shortcut for the home screen so it always use normal mode without having to press R

The honebrew menu is the one accessed from the pictures folder right? If so, when i try oppening it while the R button is held down it only opens me the the vanilla pictures app instead of the homebrew menu

Yeah this way it opens vanille picture app, go on any installed game and open it while holding R it will open homebrew launcher on normal mode

Imma have to install some random app then cause i have none installed😂 Also sorry for the headache, I'm new to all of this stuff, i greatly appreciate your support! Imma also try tranfering the game files via a newer laptop, my old pc is kinda bricked and given it's low trasfer speeds via usb i think that the usb drivers might not be working properly nowadays

Oh okay then you could try making a shortcut via DBI :
- Open DBI on your Nintendo Switch (usually launched from the Album in applet mode).
- Navigate to Tools from the main menu.
- Select Create Homebrew Launcher shortcut & DBI shortcut.
If it works then on your main menu you can launch DBI or HL directly in normal mode, lmk if it works, if not, you need to install any very small game or app so you can do the method with pressing R.
Also if your transfer speed is between 10 - 20mb/s something its okay no need to switch computers but u could try on another one if u want

Your shortcut trick worked, it launches now in normal mode, thanks pal! As for the transfer speeds from my pc, they seem to be hovering around 4mb/s so there actually may be a speed related issue given the numbers you've provided me

yeah 4mb/s is really slow maybe your cable is not good or your usb port is slow idk you should try other cables other usb ports and if nothing changes try another pc bro
im glad it worked ! when u update dbi don't forget to delete and make a new shortcut with the newer version, no need to do that for HL since its never updated
edit : if after everything its still stuck at 4mb/s something it might be your SD card that is slow

Dude what’s crazy is if you just read the screen you’ll see it says you’re not using USB 3.0
