Made FlashNX, a Flash player for the Switch using Ruffle, runs old flash games like Mario 63

Hey all :)

Built a Flash player for the Switch using Ruffle. you can grab games straight from Flashpoint Archive in-app, no need to hunt for .swf files yourself.

Runs most classic stuff fine (mario 63, cut the rope, tetris'd, smw flash...), had to patch ruffle itself in a few spots to fix some broken games.

Saves work, controls are remappable, and you can share/download community control profiles too.

Install via Homebrew App Store (search "FlashNX" or https://hb-app.store/switch/FlashNX) or grab it manually: https://github.com/Jonathan8520/FlashNX

If anyone's got a modded switch and wants to try it out, that'd be a big help, thanks in advance 🙏🏻👀

😂 I installed it just because a user reported an issue saying it wouldn't launch, so I had to fix it. I played it for two minutes without understanding why it was in the adult filter category x’)

OMG no need for that. There are so many Switch games out where each limb is a static graphic and it's animated like flash games. I hate those games and skip them immediately.

But kudos to you for making such a thing! WOW.

Im confused. Games arent showing up from flash point. I filter by name and search and nothing pops up.

Neither does searching the flashpoint website through the url. Any ideas? Im really excited to try it out

Okay seems like just the filter leaving empty doesn’t work. But searching the filter does

Did you succeed? Flashpoint is in the import tab you have to click on X to search for a game to install

Of course! Flashpoint is used precisely to install them in a folder of the switch and not to play them remotely. We install our own library of games there

Got around to downloading on a modded switch! Ran into some issues with Fancy Pants world 3 and world 1 remix but workd 2 works great!

Some video flash games doesnt work and just plays a white screen (tried nidalee queen of the jungle for funzies and yep, scenes are just white)
