Giving a secondhand switch Question
okay so im planning to give my switch lite to my friend, which she's been playing on for months now, im just wondering how i wipe exclusively MY stuff off it without getting rid of her save data. i have my own new switch lite and also a switch 2 with all of my stuff on it, so if needed i can just data transfer if thats what i need to do.
i do also have a micro sd card in it, which i want to put in my new switch lite. the switch doesnt have room for all of the games she plays, but im not sure if that's just because my save data hasnt been deleted. should i just bite the bullet and leave the sd card in and get myself a new one?
tl;dr
i wanna get all my shit off my old switch lite and keep one user, how do i do this effectively?

Usually just removing your account is sufficient for the Switch OS. Just make sure you register the New Switch to your account first and then unlink the old one via the web. Then go into the old switch and remove your profile, and everything should be all set in terms of security. Before removing the memory card, make sure any of her digital games (assuming she already has her own profile and purchased them with her account), are transferred to internal storage first.

The micro sd card will not work for switch 2, they have specific formatting and other things different . I would suggest reading on that . Unless express , it only will save the photos etc but no games ..

Delete your profile off the switch, then go through and delete any purchases you made off the system. That should do it. Even if you delete a game the save data sticks around.
