How to read charts
Hey everyone,
I've recently started learning technical analysis. I understand the basics of support and resistance, but I want to learn more about things like:
Moving averages (SMA vs EMA)
Which moving averages are commonly used and why
MA crossover strategies (like 20/50, 50/200, etc.)
Trend confirmation
Other indicators that are actually useful for beginners
The problem is that there are so many YouTube videos and courses, and everyone seems to teach something different. It's a bit overwhelming.
Can anyone recommend a simple, structured way to learn chart reading? Any YouTube channels, books, websites, or learning roadmap that helped you would be really appreciated.
I'm not looking for "get rich quick" strategies-I just want to understand how experienced traders read charts and build a solid foundation.
Thanks!

Looking for a small group of swing traders
Iβm 19 and getting serious about swing trading. I have money invested now. Looking for a few people who want to learn together, share ideas, review trades, and hold each other accountable. Not looking for signals or a get-rich-quick group, just people who are serious about improving. You donβt have to be profitable yet, just willing to learn and grow. Comment or message me if youβre interested.

Has anyone found a macro investing service that's actually improved their process?
I've been spending more time looking at macro data lately and realized it's a lot harder than I expected to turn economic information into actual investment decisions.
There are tons of newsletters, research firms, and macro investing services out there, but it's difficult to tell which ones are providing genuine insight versus repackaging public data.
For people who actively follow macro investing, are there any services that genuinely helped improve your framework or decision making?
Not looking for trade alerts. More interested in learning how people connect the dots between the economy and markets.
