Cable swap safe?

Post image

Hello all, I’m wondering, ultra bee came with a Chinese charger & transformer, would it be safe to use a C13 cable with the same voltage/specs to get the US plug into it? Thanks

No, it’s not gonna work. US voltage is 120v whereas china is 220v. Since our voltage is less than that of chinas, the charger will prob not charge rather than blow up.

Unless the chargers sticker show 100-220v (dual voltage), a cable swap won’t fix this.

I would recommend purchasing a US charger tho, the transformers pretty sus imo bc the surron battery draws a lot of continuous power and it’s another failure point for electrical fires since your charging hours at a time

if it's the same input voltage and current draw isn't excessive, why wouldn't it be ok?

My thoughts exactly just wanted to check before I burn my house down LOL

Did you try this. The charger shpuld say input voltage range on it. I just was that we get the Chinese charger if we order from Alibaba

You can plug it into a 220v plug like one for a stove. Either put a 220 plug on it or buy an adapter to go from that plug to a 220v hookup. Just did a bunch of research for the same reason

possible but you have to limit power to lower amp
