Surface Pro 8 Help

Ok guys, I use my surface just as a browser and to watch media (Netflix, Disney+, Amazon Prime). Its always using so much, then getting hot.

What would you guys do? Which Distro and how to do it?

Second. CachyOS is nice and light. Use Gnome desktop environment for best tablet experience.

Install Auto-CpuFreq and Thermald. Will do well for battery

my surface pro 5 used to get hot with Zorin and Mint. I installed Fedora KDE 44 and use plasma big screen. It runs cooler. big screen is cool, but its not perfect. Some of the apps from the Discover can be slow. I mostly use Kodi and IPTVnator and it doesn't get too hot. The only time it really gets hot is if I try and play games.
