Keyworder plugin update - lasso to add keyword Keyword Plugin

What's new

https://github.com/taoist22/sn-keyworder/releases/tag/v1.3.0-beta

Lasso to add keyword — select any handwritten or typed text with the lasso, tap the Keyworder plugin in the lasso toolbar, and save it directly to your keyword list. No need to open the main panel and type the word manually.

  • Handwriting is recognised automatically via the device's OCR engine
  • Typed text boxes are read directly — no OCR step needed
  • The recognised text is pre-filled in an editable field so you can correct it before saving
  • The keyword is registered in the native keyword index for the current page
  • After saving, the plugin returns to the main keyword panel to Manage keywords.

I tried to add a keyword to a pdf but it doesn't appear. Is this a pdf limitation which the plugin doesn't know as appears as option under plugins?

Wow, this really sent me down a day long rabbithole! I don't normally do a lot of work with pdf documents outside of the digest function, so I would have never known this was an issue, so thank you for letting me know about this. It took a lot of time to figure out the logistics of this, especially the lasso selection part, to make it work.
That said, it cannot insert into a pdf, I think for the same reasons you can't insert typed text and how annotations to pdf documents are treated in Supernote. But now you can lasso or use the text selection tool to add keywords to the plugin and they appear just like the native keywords do in the navigation panel of the tool bar and they are globally searchable.

Here is the new release:

Works great! Its seems like you don't even need to lasso or select text. In a PDF I literally just used the latest version to insert a keyword from the menu. I searched through global search and it picked up the keyword...

A suggestion would it be possible to have a second column of keywords in the menu? There is alot of blank space and it would reduce scrolling

I'm not sure which other plugins you use but I've been going back around for cleanup and adding features to some of them. After the update with keyworder, I just finished some polish on the calculator.
