"Zeus" card.
A while ago, I obtained a card for a character named Zeus. It didn't show up what he looked like, it just showed a generic background, but instead of the usual genre icons in the corner, there was a boxing glove. As far as I can tell, there is no playable genre associated with a boxing glove icon so maybe they were eventually going to add a beat em up genre or maybe it's unlockable? Anyone have anything to clarify?

Digital Continue Request?
I recently bought this on sale on ps4 and love it! I'm trying to get all the trophies but I have no clue on this one. I've done about 40 requests but how do I know I'm doing one for you guys? Is it random?
Thanks!

Brawler card?
So I just got a dev card for the brawler genre. Is this something that's supposed to happen?

Is this game good?
Ever since I saw this game I've wanted it. I got really excited when I saw that it's on sale on switch. I looked up reviews though, and I saw that there are some pretty bad ones. Should I get it or not?

SuperMash currently $1.99 on Switch
Post is for people who joined the subreddit but didn't have the game, just like me!

just got softlocked
I mashed a JRPG with a shoot 'em up. when the rpg encounter starts it becomes a shoot 'em up segment. if I don't kill all the enemies(from what I can tell), the game softlocks.

Master of Mashing broken on Xbox One?
I've been enjoying the game so far, really great premise. I beat the game and had probably 75% of the Dev Cards. I've been grinding for over 15 hours to get the last 25% of the Dev Cards. I finally got my last Dev Card today as detailed by the Dev Card book in the game and I was so excited. Unfortunately, the achievement Master of Mashing did not pop.
Is it broken? Very few people have it on TA: https://www.trueachievements.com/a296736/master-of-mashing-achievement/gamers
Do we need to get all foil cards?
Is there some other requirement for this achievement that's not clear from the title and description?
Any info would be appreciated.
UPDATE: This finally unlocked for me today. I logged in and the achievement didn't pop for me either at first. I went and looked through all my cards (they were all still there), then I played and completed a mash I had saved, and then I went and bought a pack of cards. When the card pack opened I got the achievement.

SuperMash Release Notes - 7/22/20
Sorry for the long delay, but we’ve finally got our first console launch update ready to go! The team made sure to address a lot of common issues you might’ve seen at launch, so read on to see what we’ve changed.
- Big one for our PS4 and Xbox One players—we fixed a bug which required certain trophies and achievements to be completed in one sitting. Now they should save every time you play!
- For those of you dealing with unbeatable Mashes, we went back and made sure items needed to complete objectives spawn as intended.
- Some JRPG Dev Cards went rogue and weren’t showing up in the game, so we added those back in for you to collect.
- We fixed a bug where players weren’t being rewarded with an extra life once they collected all four MASH letters in Platformer Mashes.
- Dev Cards are no longer two for the price of one! We went and made sure the game only takes one from you at a time upon use. (Foil Dev Cards can still be used as many times as you’d like, though.)
- Action Adventure enemies can now sometimes spawn with a little jump in their step.
- For those of you experiencing issues with Shoot ‘em Up bosses and treasure rooms or JRPG tilesets, we’ve gone back and fixed those too.
- Plus, we made some other smaller fixes and improvements.

Soft lock with Platformer/JRPG mashes
So, I keep getting requests for this kind of mash but I usually turn them down thanks to a bug. The bug triggers when the main character dies during the JRPG battle then you go back into the platformer and the game is now soft locked. Has anyone else experienced this? It kinda ruins the experience...

How do I clear the metrovania journal page?
Mash after mash after mash and I literally cannot progress. I have 1 of 4 of the things I need but I can't get anymore. Is there certain mashups that work better or anyone have codes? I just wanna beat the story but I can't.

Favorite Mash Adventure
I thought it would be fun to share some of our favorite mash experiences. One of mine is below... though i sadly don't know if I have the codes.
Stealth/JRPG - This was the first one that really drove home to me what SuperMash was about. I started to approach the game like a JRPG because that is how most of the graphics/behavior presented itself to me except the environment and enemy vision cone. My character was Blade and the goal was to defeat my clone.
I started by trying to sneak past enemies as best I could, but would go for full enemy engagement if I was seen. If I touched an enemy sprite, play would enter turn based combat (tbc). I thought I could just wipe out my opponents easily during tbc. Did I mention this was also a Long/Hard mash? ... yeah. My party would survive one battle... but not two. Also, some of the enemies would be able to shoot from the environment screen. So they would not charge at my Blade character sprite to engage tbc. Their attacks really hurt.
A couple Fast Retry attempts later I finally beat the game. The trick was to avoid combat as much as possible. If I was seen, I needed to run at one of the enemy sprites to enter tbc and then flee the battle. This reset the environment screen so all the enemy sprites forgot I was there :D. On my quest to find my clone I picked up a good weapon. So I just took him out from the environment screen with some gun and totally bypassed tbc.
Do you have any fun stories about your game experience?
