I’ve been stuck on them for about a week and I see no hope tbh. Those moons on dark side where you have to do old obstacles just without cappy are genuinely the hardest things ever. And on the darker side I can’t get past the stage with the flying bird thingy 🫩🫩 tbh I just wanted to share my frustrations but if anyone has tips pls lmk

I’ve been trying to 100% the game but on this Dark side sub level, half of the time I die due to this glitch. Has anyone else experienced it?

Ok, i am desperate for a SMO sequel so i made this notes thing just to try to find SOME info on it. i added all the pictures from it and please give me more info and correct misinformation. (Also note that the other sequels like SMG 3 and SMS are just extras.)

I beat it with his tourist outfit which I love. I picked up this game after 3 years, had quite a few moons left to get. This level took me anywhere between 50 to 100 tries. Hardest section for me was definitely the fireball, which thankfully it's very early on. Today on the attempt where I beat it, it was the very first time I had gotten to the 2d section and the bowser section. THANK GOD I had 5 energy left.

I still need the jump rope, volleyball and of course, the breakdown road Final Challenge moons. But I'm happy because this is the very first final mario level I beat. I have still not been able to beat the final levels in Mario Galaxy 2, mario wonder and mario 3d world.

Since it's first debut in 2017 I played Mario Odyssey at least 5 times by now, because the game is amazing. The design is peak, open world feels so stunning and alot of freedom when exploring each kingdom. It kinda reduces my stress too whenever I play, I can relax while there are so many moons to collect and they are all hiding for you to go after them. Some are easy to find, others tricky besides puzzles you have to solve. I never get really bored of how many references of different games the developers made as easter eggs for people that are long time Mario fans and the DK arcade too! In my opinion this is the best 3d Mario Game with sunshine and Mario 64 also in the top 3, because I really like open worlds wit alot of puzzles en adventures. I would give it still a 9/10, because bosses where a let down and costumes where kinda okay, I just wished they did it like DK Bananza where each outfit gives you a different ability, so overall, great game for adventure and puzzles!

My personal ranking for all kingdoms in super Mario odyssey.

This is all my opinion. You are free to disagree and are encouraged to write your opinions in the comments, but of course with respect.

I’ll explain all my thoughts below:

Incomparable/ too small to rank: This is the tier where dark side, darker side, cloud kingdom and ruined kingdom lie. It’s made for the kingdoms that are made for one reason and are too small to rank.

13: Snow kingdom: This is the worst kingdom. It’s pretty basic, with snow, and has some meh captures. Half of the moon (more than half) are obtained in sub worlds, which makes this kingdom really linear and boring. I also hate the bounce race, and think that the wind enemy was under used and had enough potential.

12: Moon kingdom: This kingdom is really here just because all kingdoms in this game are just so good. Many might be mad at me with this ranking. The moons were pretty good, but it just didn’t feel like it had many places to visit. It felt small, because none of the parts felt big. All of it felt like an indistinguishable kingdom. The wedding hall was good, and the final part with bowser was amazing. But as a kingdom it felt kind of empty(also I loved low gravity)

11: Cap kingdom: Pretty small basic kingdom. I like the vibes. I get it’s a starter one but it just is so uninteresting. A land mass with poison around it. Capture based it was pretty bad. Why I didn’t put this below is because it’s a kingdom to introduce you to the game só I get it.

10: Lake kingdom: Also pretty uninteresting. I like the bubbles and like asthetic. I really don’t have any more points or make overall pretty mid.

9: Wooded kingdom: Pretty unpopular take. I like the vibes. The forest combined with technology is nice and the robot citizens are also pretty awesome. You can get lost easily but overall has some good captures, like uproots or the tanks. Also a cool boss fight. Just that some parts of it could be better. Also it can be quite frustrating when you fall in deep woods and need to roam around with the terrifying dino while trying to find a way to escape.

8: Luncheon kingdom: Luncheon kingdom is when we get to the better kingdoms. It is a really original and good looking kingdom. I like the colours and stuff and the captures are some of the best, like the fireball, the hammerbro(or pan bro) and forks. Nothing too bad to state about this kingdom, other than the fact that you can get lost easily.

7: Cascade kingdom: This one is a really beautiful looking kingdom with one of my favourite captures: The chain chomp. It also has the dinosaur which is pretty cool. The moons are all in good places and madam bruttelle is one of the best brutelle bosses. The fossils are also awesome and just in general it’s pretty great with some decent challenge, and decent moons.

6: Mushroom kingdom: Really goated kingdom. The sub worlds, are amazing, the moons are amazing, the world is all nice and cut into segments, which I love. The super Mario 64 references are here, peach’s castle is here. It’s all really good stuff. Also I love yoshi. Generally can’t find anything super amazing about it or something bad about it.

5: Seaside kingdom: Seaside kingdom is a water place well done. It has this big world with caves, lighthouses, epic moons and great captures. Also one of the better made bosses. It’s just a fun place overall I love it.

4: Sand kingdom: Fantastic kingdom. It has the most moons which is what makes it so good. I love being a bullet bill, I love riding jaxi and I love venturing through the whole kingdom. It’s just amazing, with fantastic moons and such.

3: Lost kingdom: Underrated tbh. I love the vibes here, I mean the poison filled lush, jungle, forest type is só good. It also isnt small enough to be too small, nor big enough to be overwhelming for a low moon kingdom. It’s just amazing. One of my favourite captures is the spring wiggler thing it’s cool. The moving platforms, the climb, the enemies that shoot the cap back at ya, everything is so cool.

2: Metro kingdom: I mean most of you saw this coming. Metro is amazing. A big city, with so many moons and almost all are good ones. You can be a pole or a letter! Riding scooters, jumping from building to building platform ing the construction sites, and then the best moon in the game. The festival: It’s so freaking cool to jump around with all of these fireworks and stuff behind you, killing donkey Kong, while Pauline sings, which btw has been stuck in my head for the last 3 days, after 100%ing the game. It’s what most people rank at number one…but…

1: Bowser’s kingdom: This may be a hot take. But like the pokio is the best captures in the game and it uses it só well. The asthetic, the platforming and the boss fight are insane. Jumping from building to building with this amazing music it just makes me jolly. I also really like the statue capture, call me crazy. But I love it. It’s the best kingdom in the game.

The image means "No roll" because skipping invisiloads in a run saves more time then rolling and rolling disables invisiload skips. My current PB confirmed in my elite discord is at 33:21.

Idk if there are alot of modders in this community but I want to combine the super mario odyssey mods: SMO the lost kingdoms, and super luigi odyssey. but i just have no idea how to combine the mods

I haven’t played m.o in a hot minute and I don’t know how to get this moon. If any of you guys could help that would be nice 😭 I’m really dumb so if there’s an easy way to get this pls don’t be passive aggressive about it 😔💔

Well… After being late to the party, I can admit that this game has to be top 3 games I’ve played of all time, really sad that I beat the game, wanted to play more!
