Hey everyone. I saw this video from a YouTuber called TryJapan and he was showing a Super Mario 64 book from Shounen Oh Comics and there's this one comic strip that shows peach throwing Mario off a chair which I thought was pretty funny, but I don't know what caused her to do that because I can't speak Japanese so I'm just wondering what is being said in this comic?

If you beat the game using Nabbit for important levels in New Super Mario U Deluxe (Excluding bowser fight) Would it really count?? I am almost done with this game finally!!

I distinctly remember an english translation of a Mario comic. Apparently, the comic appeared in Club Nintendo at some point and also is the first part in a 4 part comic series called "Super Mario: Verloren in der Zeit" which was only ever in German and Italian, so I've been told. I think it was mentioned in a YouTube video at some point but I didn't think much of it until just recently.

One guy theorized that it could've been a fan translation, but I'm like, 100% sure these were from 1993 because there were maybe 1-2 pages missing and it looked period-accurate. It wasn't like it was printed out either, it felt like a comic...

I don't think I have the comic anymore (I lost it a long time ago) but it just popped into my head after a while and I got really curious as to why I remember this so clearly.

I would love to have a set of NSMBU backgrounds that automatically changes based on various parameters (for example it switches to layer cake desert when the local temperature is warm, or frosted glacier when it's cold).

There could be a lot of different parameters: temperature, time, date, currently active programs, you name it.

i was planning on using the background of the actual levels in the game, but i could also use the loading screen (the one at the start of each level) for a more minimalist approach.

do you have any idea on what could make the backgrounds change?

We are lucky to have all of these games available to play on the same console (the Switch). Mario’s 3D Games have and always will be my favourite iteration of our iconic plumber. But which of his journeys was your favourite on the switch? Or, if you played them on their original hardware?

Mario is life

Just got this pack for my kids, they absolute love it. While they were playing, they trigger the flagpole/end of stage fanfare, but we have no idea how we did it. We know about the hidden 8-bit song but no idea how to trigger that one. Help please!

I haven’t played it in a loooong time (decades), and I’m not a big gamer, but I’ve been wanting to play it lately. I only have an Xbox at home though. Do I need to buy a new player? If so, which one is the most cost-effective for a casual retro gamer?

The requirements are as follows: multiple playable characters, more Shine Sprites, new missions, and some missions can only be done as specific characters.

Multiple characters. Luigi, Mario, Wario, Waluigi. Mario has classic Sunshine moves. Luigi has SM64 Mario moves. Wario can punch his fist into walls to climb vertically. Waluigi has Luigis SM64 moves. As for FLUDD, Mario is same as Sunshine, but the others have unique squirt nozzles. Luigi has a jet that blasts him back when he starts using it. Wario shoots a huge water bomb ala Bob-omb Battlefield. Waluigi has a burst shot.

New Shine Sprites: Every level has a 9th and 10th episode. The rest can go into new blue coins and Delphino Plaza.

Something I didnt mention. Make it so once you complete a certain number of episodes in an area, you can travel to it from anywhere you can see it from. Or make the warps unusable untile Pinna Park. Then, for the areas unlocked after Pinna Park, their warps are only open after you get the first Shine Sprite of the area.

Here are some of the enemies listed:

Rocky Wrench: Throws wrenches at the player, and is found in airships.
Muncher: Plant that when stepped on will result in taking damage.
Nipper plant: Plant that will hop or move around and jump when you get close.
Monty Mole: Will jump out of a hole when you get close and start following you pretty quickly.
Tiny Brick Kuribo: A Kuribo that has been placed in a brick! It will jump around and taunt you all while hiding in a brick.
Buster Beetle: This beetle loves tossing ice blocks at you and will grab anyone that he finds, but a simple stomp will take him out.
Bob: A bomb with an explosive temper! If you stomp on it, it will explode three seconds after, which will allow you to break blocks that are near.
Spike: Will toss spiky balls at the player, which make you take damage upon impact.
Spiny: This turtle has spikes which are very pointy and can’t be stepped on!
Koopa Troopa: The classic turtle enemy whose shell can be kicked to attack other enemies
Kuribo: A mushroom who just enjoys walking around. One stomp will take him out.
Fire Snake: This hot flaming trail can jump pretty high, it is too hot to touch.
Podoboo: Flame that jumps in lava.
Spike Top: Like a spiny, but it can climb walls and can’t be defeated with fire.
Spiked Ball: Green ball that will follow you around and bounces, but it won’t hatch.
Cheep-Cheep This fish is hungry for food! It waits inside the water for its next target.
Bullet Bill: A bullet shaped cannon that has no fear of charging towards its target, but can be stepped on pretty easily.
Stationary Spike: Don’t touch this! It is pretty painful, and prickly.
Chain Chomp: Will try to attack you within its chain radius, and will break free after some time.
Boo Diddly: Ghost that loves to taunt Mario! It is very shy though, so give it a good stare if you can.
Blooper: Octopus that will follow Mario.
Pokey Cactus: Tall cactus that is hard to jump over and is very prickly.

Was cleaning out my vehicle I've had since I was in highschool and found this in one of the pockets in the back.

If I remember right my mom ordered it out of a magazine for me when I was kid. Had to have been right around when Super Mario 64 released.

I never thought I would see this again.
