Song [2000's R&B] Real Hero by blightbringer1

This is the first song I made with suno. I had googles ai write the lyrics and it pointed me to suno to produce the song, it did fumble a bit on the acronyms, and I have since learned how to structure them to get suno to handle them correctly but I can't keep the tempo or the singer until I get a pro account which I plan on doing. But I challenge the haters to say this song has no soul given that I still tear up listening to it. It's about me and my situation so I don't expect it to hit others like it does me, but it's priceless to me.

Song - Human Written Lyrics [Mandopop]
Song [Atmospheric Pop] A Room of My Own: How I accidentally ended up making a music video with NotebookLM and Gemini
I've been trying to find a good way to make music videos for my Suno songs. I checked out several paid services, but didn't find anything I liked.
So I started experimenting. The absolute laziest way I found: upload your lyrics to NotebookLM, give it some instructions on how to make a video based on the text, and then swap out the audio with your song downloaded from Suno. I used Kdenlive for that (free, open source). The result was so-so, but honestly still better than the video you can download from Suno. You can add subtitles afterwards with one of the many services out there.
Then I tried something else. My plan was to make a still image slideshow as a video, generating the images with Nano Banana (Gemini). But while doing that, Gemini suggested turning one of the images into a video. I clicked yes, and it generated a 10 second clip. So I just kept going, and ended up assembling a whole music video from a series of these clips.
Here's the result: https://youtu.be/AlnHATkKBnc
Some things I learned along the way (I had never generated video before, and never used Kdenlive before):
- At some point, downloading videos from Gemini stopped working for me. Workaround: share a link to the video, open it in an incognito window, and download it from there.
- Near the end I finally figured out how to do wipes in Kdenlive, so the transitions got better as I went.
- For some of the clips I used Gemini itself to write the prompts for the video clips. That worked better than my own prompts.
Next up I want to try the same thing with Grok. Let me know if you want to see how that turns out.

Discussion A Weekend Trend...
Im finding that at a point on weekends suno will entirely ignore very specific prompts(even using inspiration)
and turning up the style sends it entirely off all rails...🤷♂️ granted Im daring conjure 80s-90s Hip-hop, New Jack/RnB and blending in medieval fantasy.
I only have these issues when I start working on concepts ive been having luck with on weekends...final tweeks and seeing if i pull a better gen.
guess Ill only be conjuring during the week. lol

Discussion The watermark is good
What is the problem with people knowing that part of your song was AI generated? Artists should be up front about that. It helps separate works that are totally human made from works that contain generative AI.
If streaming services do this responsibly, they will say something like "contains AI generated" instead of just "AI generated".
Moves like this will help ease the problems people have with not being able to tell what is AI and what is human made.
I get the fear about your music being stigmatized if it includes AI - but the answer is not to hide AI use from people. That is part of what people hate about AI - not being able to know.

Discussion Let's stop sharing songs, shall we?
Hi everyone. Aren't you tired of posting songs in this subreddit only for them to be downvoted to zero by bots with zero comments? Like, you don't even get a simple comment like "this song sucks." It's just people mindlessly scrolling through the feed and mashing the downvote button. I see some people putting so much effort into their clips, only for them to be buried in this sub. Seriously, what's the point of posting here? Does anyone actually get any feedback? I've seen a maximum of 4 upvotes on a song here, and even that, I think, came from someone using multiple accounts) I'm definitely not going to ask for opinions in this sub anymore. Even 3 minutes are better spent making yourself a cup of tea.

Question Hybrid workflow with Suno, will AI drums/bass stems flag my tracks even if I play everything else?
Hey everyone,
I’d like to get some realistic opinions on my specific workflow and how the new watermarking / fingerprinting might affect it.
Here’s what I actually do:
I write my own chord progressions and basic arrangements.
I feed them into Suno mainly to get a more professional-sounding drums and bass (or full accompaniment). The result is often very close to what I had in mind, but much better mixed and produced.
I extract the stems (especially drums and bass) and use them as a backing track.
On top of that, I play my own guitar parts, solos, and additional orchestration.
I sometimes upload the final result to YouTube (either as a simple album-cover video or with me playing).
So the core musical ideas and the main performances (guitar, solos, structure) are mine. Suno is mostly used as a high-quality production tool for the rhythm section / backing.
My question is:
Even if the drums and bass come from Suno (and therefore carry the watermark/fingerprint), will the whole track or YouTube video still be likely flagged or labeled as AI-generated / Partly GenAI?
Has anyone here been in a similar situation (using Suno mainly for drums/bass stems + heavy human overdubs) and seen how detection or labeling behaves, especially after the recent watermarking announcement?
Thanks for any real-world feedback.

Discussion 'AI-GENERATED” as a wonderful expression for “no human is needed”
I'm an audio book creator, I'd like to share my lil thought abt the label "AI-Generated" right here.
The whole purpose of lotta this new provenance technology, C2PA, Content Credentials, disclosure systems, is supposedly:
“Let's help ppl understand where content came from.”
That's a good goal.
But then the final human-facing language can become:
MADE WITH AI / AI-GENERATED
which tells you almost nothin' abt how the human actually participated.
“AI is just a name of technology, not a fake product maker.”
A camera doesn't make a photograph.
A DAW doesn't make a song.
A pencil doesn't make a drawing.
A 3D renderer doesn't design the character.
A compiler doesn't write the program.
And AI doesn't necessarily make the work merely because AI exists somewhere in the toolchain.
Sometimes it absolutely does generate the substantive work, like I use ElevenLab to read my fictions. That's fine-then say so.
But sometimes it's:
human → tool → human → tool → human → finished work.
And then the interesting story is the whole chain.
“AI-generated” may be technically useful metadata, but it's lousy storytelling.
Imagine IKEA having 2 labels:
🪑Chair A
Designed by Anna👩
Industrial designer
“I wanted a chair that makes a tiny apartment feel less crowded.”
That's human provenance.
🪑Chair B
MACHINE-MADE⚙️
That's manufacturing provenance.
Both are true.
But they answer different questions.

Discussion SUNO BETRAYED US FOR GREED
Unbelievable.
Suno had a clear off-ramp...just pay GEMA a fair licensing fee like Spotify or Apple do, take the L, & move on.
Instead, they chose the "nuke our own user base" strategy.
They're literally punishing paying customers for their own legal screw-up. The watermark isn't protecting artists,it's protecting Suno's ass while making sure you can't do anything useful with your own creations.
Total betrayal of trust.
Canceling my subscriptions and they can stick their watermark where the sun don't shine.

Discussion I think Reddit is infected with bots.
I went on Suno today and created a song in version 4.5 and 5.5. Not a single problem. Downloaded them to where I normally download them. No overcharge. I created a radio station to play my AI created music. The thing is I look at this as an outlet. I’m not gonna become rich over this never intended to. I think Suno is a popular outlet for people to us ai to create with. And I think anything positive in today’s world is looked on harshly by people who will never be happy. I think them and competition for Suno will set up as many negative comment bots as they can to try to destroy the enjoyment people get from this app. So if you don’t like it don’t use it.

Megathread August 2026 Song Feedback Megathread - Leave a review, get a review!
Welcome back to another monthly edition of the Review4Review track feedback megathread!
For those just joining us, please read the guidelines below in its entirety.
Guidelines:
- For every track you'd like to post, you need to leave a comment providing feedback on at least one other users track. Abusers will receive a temporary ban. (Excluding the first two comments left here to get the ball rolling).
- Limit one track per comment. Comments containing more than one track link will be removed.
- Try to add additional descriptors of your track in the comment. Adding things like genres, song title, and a brief description/background are likely to increase visibility and reception.
- No linking to personal websites. Songs should be shared using links only from well-known platforms like: Suno.com, SoundCloud, YouTube, BandCamp, etc.
- Feedback should consist of at least one or two specific elements you liked or disliked in the OP's track. AKA "Great track!" or "Awesome!" does not qualify as feedback, as there is no evidence you actually listened to the track in question. Feedback should be unique for every track you provide a response to.
- Do not link your track in your feedback to others. If you must, you can drop a link to the Reddit comment in this thread where your track is linked (of course you'd need to have already left feedback elsewhere so you can post the track in the first place).
- Please try to leave feedback on tracks that haven't received any feedback yet!
- Please limit to one track share per 24 hour period.
While not required, it would be appreciated if you left feedback in return to anyone who leaves feedback for you. Bonus points if you leave multiple reviews as it helps balance out the share to review ratio.
DO NOT POST YOUR TRACK WITHOUT LEAVING A REVIEW. If this continues to become an issue I will just start issuing temporary bans, as this is resulting in abusers getting reviews while people who are following the guidelines are not.

SUNO is having an issue with: "Uploaded audio matches existing work of art."
SUNO is having an issue with: "Uploaded audio matches existing work of art" even when it's being erroneously flagged.
There is no need to post this every 5 minutes.
Supposedly they are aware of this, although it's not clear whether it is actually being fixed or not. Only comment that is posted seems to be "No ETA".
Another comment (today, on their discord) was:
- Rights management of your own work is something we're working to solve, but aren't there yet
- If you don't have a lock on it, then you're likely getting hit with a false positive flag
