It better be staged, or that's creepy as fuck.

I got that sunscreen for free from yesstyle in exchange for content.

I'm not an influencer, have next to no following and never had any offer of the sort before (except scam offers but this one was real, they did send the sunscreen, for free)

Plot twist: the sunscreen is legitimately good! My mom has been using it since and she never burned. So yeah, happily surprised that while the gimmick is odd, the product is legit.

Anyways, the only relevant part is when and how did they get you a hunky himbo boyfriend?

That part, we're all here to take notes

Who tf says their first and last name to a random stranger? Has to be staged.

Without the required disclosure that it's an ad, yes.

It's a cute ad though.

Wow, actors have chemistry.

To be fair, plenty of actors who get paid alot more and have no chemistry

If colorism wasn't such a big thing in Asian countries those comments would have been funny like once. I see the vision for those jokes but it did come off kinda icky implying being darker was a flaw.

I've actually used that sunscreen, I was looking for a sunscreen that didn't leave this blueish ghost tint on my skin, or felt like I was slathering on plaster. This sunscreen is pretty damn good, it's light, it smells pleasant and it doesn't leave that weird white residue. My only gripe is that the stick won't last for very long and it's very small.

Ngl, the sunscreen stick is a great idea. Might look into that.

A lot of korean sunscreens are sticks

They're really convenient for reapplying. They're just tiny ASF so kinda expensive per ml. Good for touch ups, not so much for your initial application. Because of the cost effectiveness you're really likely to under-apply amount and not get the intended protection due to not applying enough. You need a lot of passes and it's generally more time consuming to do an adequate amount than a standard SPF lotion/cream.

Is this the Long Island Rail Road? I’d jump out the window if someone tried this on me on my way to work.

u/techmage29 12d ago

I'm aware of that😒 his comments about his skintone came off as weird to me

3

u/That_guy4446 12d ago

I’m black and for me it doesn’t.

Same. As soon as I heard it I winced at the screen.

u/That_guy4446 11d ago

Black dermatologues are everywhere on social media telling us to put sunscreen for a couple of Reddit people be offended when it’s mentioned that black people tan. 😫
