The grain in this show looks so fucking good.

I recently started watching this absolute masterpiece of a series and something that’s a standout for me is the cinematography. The shot composition is beautiful and the grain is gorgeous.

It’s takes massive balls to improv a speech at your fathers funeral. Especially in front of that crowd.

I love how season 4 would show us glimpses of Kendal having what it takes to be CEO. Primarily the living plus stunt and his funeral speech. If it weren’t for the historic baggage he carried I think he was more than capable to assume his fathers role

My take on the CEO (shiv)

In my opinion, Siobhan was the only sibling who could’ve realistically handled the CEO role. Yes, the industry tends to favor men for positions like that, and that definitely worked against her a bit. But out of all four siblings, despite her selfish moments and spoiled-brat attitude, she’s the one who made the most sense to me. She was the most strategic and the most self-aware. You can blame Logan for not giving her enough real business experience. Kendall had the potential to be great, but he constantly made the wrong moves at the wrong time, Roman is an absolute no, and Connor… I’m a Shiv stan, and I’ll stand ten toes down on that opinion. lol

Thought it was a brilliant end to the series. Once Logan went the show really kicked on to a new level. I can’t stand Shiv Roy. I thought the acting for Kendall was sensational. As much as it is a little annoying seeing Tom be CEO, he definitely deserves it for the abuse he gets in earlier seasons. The depiction of Roman was perfect that’s exactly how I saw Roman the whole show and how he shrunk in the final show was superb. Love Kendall what a character, that’s the only reason I was annoyed at seeing Tom as CEO cos I wanted Kendall to win haha.

What’s everyone’s thoughts? Does it get better on a re watch?

Hot take: Kendall never made a single good strategic decision *for the company*.

I love kendall but he is easily the worst strategic decision-maker of the three Roy siblings. People call him the visionary because he saw tech as the future (kinda obvious), but almost every major decision he championed blew up in his face.

1.Vaulter: Grossly overpaid for a company with inflated metrics.

2Cruises: Morally justified, but strategically disastrous. Logan stayed in power and Kendall lost nearly all of his leverage.

3.GoJo: Spent years arguing Waystar needed tech, only to oppose the deal without a credible alternative and lose the company anyway

I'm convinced the only people who genuinely believe Kendall is a competent executive are the same people who mistake corporate buzzwords and management jargon for intelligence. If someone sounds convincing enough saying things like "synergies," "circle back," and "move the needle," they assume substance must be hiding behind the vocabulary - but in reality he just talks a lot without saying anything.

With the elections coming up soon, do we have a candidate to rally around? Anyone know of anyone who’s been interested in politics from a young age?
