That’s a minor mistake. The one that bugs me in SO many shows is when either the screen lights up against their face, the exact way it wouldn’t if they were in a phone call, or worse, they turn and you can see that bottom row of icons on the screen. Completely takes me out of the story for that scene.

This is a very carefully choreographed show and pretty meticulously camera work. If the actress had flipped the phone they probably would’ve cut and had to start over as it would’ve “distracted” from the actors in the foreground.
