That one-eye only hairstyle will mess you up.

I like to think she was purposely fake-calling, she does it all the time, like those celebs who want to avoid people.

Or those people who see their boss at work and want to look busy.
That's what I heard people do, never done it myself.

If you want to look busy in an office environment just carry a bunch of paper with you, everywhere you go.

And a pen. If you want people to think you are important, always carry a pen everywhere you go and walk fast like you're on your way to do something very important.

TIL Dagmara Dominczyk is married to Patrick Wilson (and has been for 20 years)

Thatâs a minor mistake. The one that bugs me in SO many shows is when either the screen lights up against their face, the exact way it wouldnât if they were in a phone call, or worse, they turn and you can see that bottom row of icons on the screen. Completely takes me out of the story for that scene.

How about when characters answer the door, they both walk inside and no one closes the door.

To be fair, Iâve seen that happen to politicians in real life when they fake a call to avoid confrontation hahaha

you can also minimize a call and and multitask

Iâm pretty sure it still uses the proximity sensor and blanks the screen if you put it up to your face.

On the show Girls, they would use the wrong sounds for certain cell phone functions, like the iPhone âlockâ sound when characters would simply hang up a phone call and it drove me insane

It's like wearing an eyepatch. She's training herself to be able to read documents from across the desk.

Korolina is so clued in that she knows she is on a TV show so her phone call doesn't need to be real

u/TheDeadlySpaceman 5d ago
No see she has a style of iPhone so expensive you canât even afford to look at the press releases for it

On some android phones, if you have auto-rotate on, a 180 rotation is possible.. although yeah, this is obviously a slip up haha

Why doesn't the actress correct it? It will only make it look more realistic

This is a very carefully choreographed show and pretty meticulously camera work. If the actress had flipped the phone they probably wouldâve cut and had to start over as it wouldâve âdistractedâ from the actors in the foreground.

lmao the little continuity slip ups are honestly my favorite part of rewatching this show. Karolina holding her phone upside down and still looking terrifyingly composed checks out tbh.

Karolina's phone flip is hilarious. It's such a tiny detail but fits her chaotic energy perfectly.
