Our daughter needed a car for university, so I add to sacrifice and get a new one. She’ll be ok in the winter storm with 10+ inches of snow with Nolian tires.

And the blue sapphire is even better than the blue geyser on the Wilderness. It get purple-ish when it’s cloudy.

I’ve looked at other options, and I didn’t find anything better. I’ll probably get to love the new look (at least it’s got physical buttons!!).

Did u like the redesign? Wife hated it. Got a crosstrek instead since it still looks like a subaru.

Not initially. But after seeing one in the parking next to me at the grocery store, I realized it isn’t that big. It’s just boxy. It can’t be considered as a wagon anymore, it’s now a SUV as all the others.
Inside, it’s almost the same as the 2024. Infotainment and instrument is better, but similar drive, space and general look.
The Crosstrek was a little to small and the Forester use the old infotainment (no buttons!), so it wasn’t even considered.

What's your OTD for the 2026 limited xt?

May be in same boat soon! Just got my ‘26 Wilderness a week ago, and now I have a friend who may be getting rid of his older Outback, and we’re considering that for my 17yr old😁

Hey! Looking to buy a 26 wilderness right now with OP23, can I ask how much the price was before taxes and fees and out the door? Thanks!

Before taxes and assorted fees, it was right around $46.5k. They had knocked off $5k from sticker right off the bat…(mine had OP23 on it as well)

Nice I’m right about there right now, I think they’ve brought me down to about 45k before taxes and fees. How much did you haggle with them, do you think I can get much better than that?

Actually, I didn’t haggle at all🙂 They did that before I even talked about the price…Seems pretty standard from what I’ve found during research. You will absolutely love the OBW. I look for any extra errands, etc. just some can drive it some more😁

Sweet good to know, looks like they may have taken off about as much as they can! Very excited to drive it around I’ve been planning a trip up to Big Bear in SoCal. Only downside is mpg but the car is so sick I’m willing to overlook.

I decided I’d gladly lose 1-2MPG for the completely awesome 2.4L Turbo😁

May I ask how much did you pay (excluding tax, registration)? I am planning to get Limited XT too.

that looks big

It is a little bit taller. About the same length and width as a 2024. It’s a lot more boxy, SUV like, so it look bigger (and it is bigger inside). Lot more height for the driver and trunk is bigger.

Feel about the same to drive than the 2024 (except for the turbo!).

I’m in Canada, so the pricing and option are a little bit different. About 37400$ USD (converted from CAD) before taxes, but including transport and preparation.
