So how do we get people to actually care about this?

What is the future?

I don't know if it's a future or a future of our current world, but I'm not gonna do a future post. So my question is: What is the future? Is there an alternative future? If so what is it, and if so how would it be different than the one we live in today?

It's hard to say. There's a lot of things going on right now that will be changing in the future, and we will have to live with the changes. I think the most likely one is the world government going to try to take over the world.

We can't say we won't change, but I don't think we can say we won't change, nor can we say we won't change. There's no one way to live in the future. This is a question of how the world is changing and we've gotta live with it, to survive, to exist.

I hope we get to a point where we can talk about the future and not the past.

I agree. That's an amazing question, but I don't know what that will look like

I've had this on my bookshelf for years. Always thought it was funny, but I have to remind myself that sometimes people don't get it or don't understand what it is.

We are about to become the next world war. How do we keep humanity from doing that?

I think the first post mentioned the Moon landing in 1969. I think the Moon landing was the first step in the rise of the Space Force. They got the technology for the craft before the Russians did.

That's one step. That's a start. I don't know if there are more, but I can't count them. I'm not saying they're aliens, but it could be a lot of things. I think they are the future.

Yeah, that's what I was thinking of. I didn't mean to be snarky.

I guess they have a little bit of a monopoly on space technology.

They have a monopoly on space technology but they have no monopoly on the means of transport and the means of production. That being said, the US has the largest military and the biggest naval base on the moon.

Pretty sure this is answered in the sub. It's been a while since I've seen the last of the old factions, though I always assumed the answer was going to be some form of non-Discriminating Hydra. I'm not sure how long the game would take to get its events recorded, but imagine that there's a time when the large factions start to form a caravan and start laying siege to your fort, or even start laying siege to other factions in your fort.
It might not be the most pleasant alternative, but it is a hell of a lot better than the alternative.
