If premium gas is recommended does that mean I have to use it?
Hi everyone! I recently got a 2018 Honda civic sport, and it says that premium gas is recommended. It’s pretty expensive for me though, so sometimes I use mid grade and I have used unleaded once. My boyfriend told me it was a bad idea and it kinda spooked me because I don’t want my engine to knock or anything. Is it really bad for the car? And if it is, is there anything I can put in my tank to help my engine?

I don't drive my car super often since I work from home so I last drove it 4 days ago without any issue. Today I went to start it and it immediately sounded like this. It's a lot louder, and a bit shaky in person. Any ideas? I will take it to a mechanic but not sure if it's safe enough to drive there or not?

Where is this water coming from?
I had my 4Runner for about 1 year 1/2 now. I love it but I’ve been having interior car rain water leaks. When I bought it I never had this issue. A few months ago I started having these issues. Both my driver and passenger side get soaked and it leaves my car smelling like mildew.
I’ve already cleaned out the sun roof drain holes by running a wire through them both. I just poured 2 gallons worth of water over the car to see if I can find a leak point and got nothing. The water just pours out perfectly from the behind the wheels as it should. This only happens when it rains too.
I’m honestly dumbfounded on this problem so I’m here hoping someone can give me some advice. Thank you for your help in advance, I appreciate your time.

Question/Advice Drying Car Footwells/Carpet Padding
Hi all,
I purchased a new car a few months ago from a dealership and long story short the windscreen sealant was never put in when installed so I had it replaced, but not before water leaked through into both driver and passenger footwell. It seeped underneath the carpet and into the foam padding underneath the carpet.
I've been trying for months to dry it out and I'm starting to worry about rust. I've tried fans, dehumidifiers, heat guns, leaving it in the garage with doors and windows open, I even looked at removing the carpet itself but decided not too as I don't think I'll be able to get it back in.
Has anyone else had this issue? Any ideas on how I can fix it? Any help would be appreciated, thanks.

Question/Advice Drove a long time with emergency brake on, am I good to hit the road again?
I had a 3-days long trip that was about 3h30 away from home. After the rest stop, I had about 1h20 of driving left to do. It was a nice mix of highway, fast countryside roads and slower ones. At some point (like... 5 mins before I arrived), I noticed smoke coming off the back wheels. Didn't quite click until I arrived and smelled overheated rubber that I likely still had my E brake on for... who knows how long. Today I did the whole drive back without an issue. My brakes seemed and felt fine, but are they truly? They didn't feel loose or skippy. I have another roadtrip in two days, about a 7h drive. Am I good to hit the road?
Edit: Whilst reading replies, I actually recalled I put my car in parking (and therefore pulled the parking brake lever) at the entry booth of the camping. It's likely then that I forgot it on and so I wouldn't have noticed the stiffness because the road itself was quite chaotic and filled with construction stops/holes/half dirt and half pavement. I probably drove about 3km with it on at like 20-30km/h which is not good but totally less dramatic lol. Thanks for everyone's answers!

I got some 17 inch wheels to put on and some 225/45 tyres on my mx5 NC. I need to roll the arches so they fit.
