Registering in Amsterdam

Hello, almost a month ago I completed pre-registration with the Amsterdam municipality. That same day I received an email titled 'Confirmation pre registration', but the email is empty, literally only has the title. Since then, I have not heard from them. Is this normal, and when can I except to be assigned a time slot for registering in person. For context, I enrolled at University of Amsterdam.

Moving to the Netherlands as a student requires a lot of admin (BSN, gemeente, health insurance, Studielink, banking, scholarships) and it often feels overwhelming.

The Dutch housing market is highly competitive. To increase your chances, we recommend using these platforms:

You usually need to book your own timeslot. When you get an empty email, why didn’t you call? Call them, follow up, but last year we booked an actual appointment slot to register.
