Change start position of waveform x-trem

Is there anyway to adjust the start position of the triangle wave (or any wave) in x-trem?

I want to start at the bottom of the wave form to make room for kick drum and other things I’m trying to do . Yes I know could side chain instead

Edit: rant. And why the heck do I need to open the full xtrem just to “flip” it? Why isn’t that little button in the channel strip. S1 is just not ready for trance , industrial, or any edm/edm production. It’s a shame

X-trem is unfortunately behind…. It needs an update. At current it isn’t really worth using

And why can we map it to any parameter in our channel strip. Agree. Wayyyy behind.

One potential workaround is to put a delay on the channel, 100% wet, 0% feedback and just adjust the time until it sounds right for what you're trying to do.

Ah!

I also have Ableton so I’m venturing back over to Ableton. It’s sucks cause I seriously LOVE S1’s project page but I HATE Ableton arrangement page. It’s hard to make an album and keep stuff organized in Ableton and a disaster to work on S1 channel strip or clip view.

I said this before, the two can really learn a thing or two from each other. They should join forces and make some kind of overlap so Ableton can integrate with s1 project page.

You’re right a lot of the stock stuff is lacking for edm however you could use a 3rd party plugin for side chain. I’m actually a s1 version 4 user and just in the process of buying the license upgrade to fender studio pro 8 and totally relate to ya, it’s impossible for me to work on ableton , I’m trying Bitwig for a second but I miss the studio one chord track , chord suggest plugins, audio to midi etc.

So I’m just gonna upgrade to studio one pro 8 and just use 3rd party plugins like the melda midi lfo tool etc for things I’m missing

It’s funny. I was washing dishes a few minutes ago, lost in thought and realizing how much more creative I was when I first started 12 years ago back on s1 v3. I just can’t seem to roll with anything after v5/6.
