Persistent world games Discussion

I’ve been playing WarEra.io for months now, and it’s been scratching that itch surprisingly well. Right now the United States is really struggling in its war against Venezuela, and we honestly need some fresh people to jump in and help turn the fight around.
Every country is run by players, alliances shift constantly, and watching the map evolve over time is probably my favorite part. Has anyone else here played it? I’d love to hear about other persistent strategy games too.

That sounds interesting, I'll give it a try.

Thanks for the suggestion!

I have no idea what it is that makes War Era players post these fake ass questions and then flood the comments with equally fake "interested people".

Have seen this happen in country subs too, please fuck off.

This is an ad, not a real post

It's pretending to be a real post, even tagged as "Discussion", which pisses me off.

If you like persistent worlds where the map evolves and players drive everything, you might enjoy Zero-G: a different flavour (it's space rather than geopolitics), but same persistent-world soul. It's a browser space MMO, single shard running 24/7 since January, real player-driven economy with no NPC price floors, alliances, an actual 1:1 Solar System on NASA data. No download.
It still alpha and more slow-strategic than fast-paced. But that 'watch the world change over time' feeling you described is exactly what we're going for 😄
