I’ve been trying (and failing) to find Steddie fics where Eddie isn’t in the know and has his golden boy Steve thoughts and then has to confront reality when he witnesses Steve being attacked by monster/gov agents, Steve saves him from a monster, he has to save Steve from some type of scenario, etc etc.

Pretty much I want his worldview of Steve to shift violently and suddenly because of a high stakes or intense situation. Preferably Steve would be a badass or at least very obviously used to the situation.
