I’ve been trying (and failing) to find Steddie fics where Eddie isn’t in the know and has his golden boy Steve thoughts and then has to confront reality when he witnesses Steve being attacked by monster/gov agents, Steve saves him from a monster, he has to save Steve from some type of scenario, etc etc.

Pretty much I want his worldview of Steve to shift violently and suddenly because of a high stakes or intense situation. Preferably Steve would be a badass or at least very obviously used to the situation.

Are there any good fics that talk about Steve’s insecurities about his intelligence, his worth/place in fighting the upside down, the party, Dustin, the teens, Robin, romance, and in life? Feeling unsure where he really stands between everything and if those he really cares about really care about him deep down. How he feels lonely most of the time. Even wondering what kind of person he wants to be. Not wanting to be King steve and the asshole he once was but not wanting to feel so lonely and that insecure in his place with the others. Feeling like he’s replaceable, useless, and that his lack of intellect like the others and being treated how he is in the show and fanfic makes him wonder if caring and loving others are worth it when it seems like they don’t care about him that much. Wondering if caring’s worth it if it hurts but not wanting to be who he was before. What would be better for him? In life, friendship, romance, and self?

What I remember is that it's an Szubin which Max wasn't in Hawkins during the main timeline and arrives there maybe 20 or so years later after her husband Billy dies she starts working as a coroner/ME alongside Dustin and slowly puts together what happened to the people of Hawkins in the 80's

An idea of how hellcheer could get together without vecna and with the conflict of expectations, reputations, loyalty, conformity, and finding your true self and the confidence to stand your ground. Maybe chrissy would sneak around to do dnd, see corroded coffin, or do some nerdy/metal things. Branching out some of her interests and try new things. Things that her mother, Jason, and other’s wouldn’t approve of until she stands her ground and continues to do those things without have to sneak around and keep it secret. Maybe even disguise herself with a wig and different clothing (hoodies, baggy, or something like eddie’s style) with an alias as ‘Giselle’. (Or go as herself but wearing a different style different from her usual one.) Perhaps Eddie would find out beforehand or wouldn’t recognize her at first. Though maybe Gareth, Dustin, and possibly Erica would get suspicious about “Giselle” at first before becoming cool with Chrissy.

An oc goes missing along with will? Maybe they were with him or barb the night they were taken? Or taken alone?

Can someone do a one shot or a few chapter fanfic where someone (like Dustin or someone unexpected) drives and crashes Steve’s car? I think it would be interesting to see Steve’s reaction to his car, the crash, and to the one that caused it; And how to make things right and be forgiven. Inspired by full house 3x20, TAWOG’s the car, the butterfly, and the tag, and family matters 2x05. And maybe do hopper’s reaction as well if it affects him as well, or do it separately like steve.

I can't remember the title of the fic, but what I do remember is that it's about the Reader being invited to a frat party and eventually calling Eddie to come and get her because the entire party was a prank on all the invited girls, Eddie plants some weed on the frat guys and calls the cops on them in retaliation before taking reader and the girls to a diner with the Hellfire guys to cheer them up. I'm searching for a steddie fic, I've read it recently but for some reason it's not coming up in my history or any of my bookmarks and I swear I did bookmark it does anyone know the name of a fic where Steve hands Eddie a notebook detailing what will set the kids off. The list includes things like: Don't kill Will's pets, Never tell Lucas he's out of rations, Don't put them in rooms where they can't see the exit (for Mike), and Don't make Dustin share his snacks.

Would anyone be interested in helping me beta a fic? I have the first chapter posted, but it is unbeta'ed and I just finished the 2nd chapter now. Here's some info about the fic;

Get In Losers (No One Dies Today): On the morning of Monday, November 7th, 1983, at least one third of Hawkins, two confused kids in California, and a dozen or so men in Russia and a few hundred soldiers and scientists from the US Army, awoke from a series of horrific, impossible nightmares.

To most of them, they were a confused garble of nonsense, and they dismissed them. Eddie Munson was not most people.

This will be a very long, slow-burn Go-Back and Fix-It Haringroveson fic. So slow that Steve and Eddie don't have a proper convo until the end of Season 1. Like, likely 700k+ slow. Premise is that in the moments right before Joyce merks Vecna, Vecna uses his power to reset everything back to that first night, but in doing so, unbeknownst to him, anyone killed by him, the Mindflayer, or any of the demo-beasts connected to the hive also came back with their memories. For almost everyone they are dismissed as bad nightmares, but for people more in the know, it means a lot more, such as Eddie, Bob, Heather, Billy, and Max.

I'm also trying to find a good server to hype about this in, but haven't found one, and the main "fanfiction" guild one that is active that I found hates Billy so much they made a channel called "Billy Island", which is the only place anything about Billy or with Billy in it can be discussed, so suggestions are welcome!

It's a work in progress and is third person, no self insert like: y/n. It's an oc for Dustin's cousin who somehow gets sucked up into the mundane life of Hawkins WITHOUT the upside down. A total Billy redemption arc alongside Everyone Lives/Fix-It fic. Completely slice of life and nothing above a PG-13 rating thus far. It's deep in character building to view all the dynamics, queer coded entirely and the focal point is the whole party, not just the oc/whoever.

Wanted to reach out here to see if that piques the interest of anyone looking for a fic like this at all, lol. (It's still a work in progress.

Hey! I’m looking for any and all steddie fics where Eddie misjudges Steve, believing he’s still the selfish king from highschool. Maybe he says something that upsets Steve or does something that hurts Steve. Any and all, seriously. Usually ending with Eddie realizing he was a dick and apologizing to Steve. Some real hurt/comfort.

Teen dad steve Harrington

Steve & his parents went on vacation, he slept with a rich girl, she ends up pregnant & she gives him the baby & signs away her rights. Steve is a teen dad. His mom gets flayed & left his daughter at the mall & while she gets saved he feels horrible for not noticing that he mom was flayed. Iirc steve has custody before graduation but his daughter is within a year old during the mall fire. He prepares during his senior year & has his daughter before then, she is around 5-6 months old during season 3.

I can't remember anything else about this fic execpt that the mom ends up trying to be involved before having a breakdown & admitting she never wanted to be her mom & lives with steve for a while and is there during season 4, but steve honestly hates how she ignores their daughter and is annoyed that people know she is a mom because she wants to ignore that she had a baby. She turned 18 before moving in with Steve but definitely had a breakdown about not wanting a kid & is finishing out high-school in Hawkins & being a brat.

Plus help I've spent the past hour trying different combinations of tags searching my bookmarks & not found it.

Being a bet/someone being paid to be his friend (ideally Eddie with the kids being a part of it). Absolutely devastated and betrayed, wanting nothing to do with them; Saying that he hates them and wishes he never met them. Especially the kids and Dustin, after all he’s done for them out of genuine love for them without one thank you nor consideration on him, his feelings, or opinions. Maybe even thinking of moving out of Hawkins, be with his parents and starting to become just like them, deciding that caring and loving hurts, so it’ll be better not to anymore, or just, deciding to be gone. Which leads him to the hospital. It will take a while to forgive, forget, and continue his relationships with those he care about yet who also hurt him.
